Minimum Investment reduced to $20

We have had a number of enquiries requesting us to reduce the minimum investment. People have mentioned that they are keen to invest but would rather start off with a smaller amount

As a result we have reduced the minimum investment to $20 to allow smaller investors access to this program

It's my understanding that both GFN and PrivateHYIP sites are having server problems and the sites are taking a long time to load, or may not load at all. Keep trying.

Update for the 24th of January 2007

Lots of exciting news to report in this update

New Sites

Work has started on setting up and designing 4 new sites, Aussie Talk, Euro Talk, I.T. Thai and also International Forum Awards. All these sites will be launched in the near future

Returns for January

We have had an excellent month and returns will be around 10% for this month. This is due to good advertising orders and Google Adsense returns. Dividends will be paid on the 5th of Feb directly into e-gold accounts

Support Office

We have started looking at different offices for lease and will select a location in the next few weeks. In addition to managing the network, the support office will be employing 2 or 3 programmers and designers that will be setting up web sites, doing graphics and design work for clients both locally and internationally

Talk Thailand

Last weekend we handed out cards for Talk Thailand and got a great response from Expats, Foreigners and Tourists receiving them. We will monitor the response from this promotion over the next few weeks

Private HYIPs

Private HYIPs is doing extremely well. Our admin there "grateful" is doing a fantastic job. The site has created lots of interest and our interview with Voltaire received a lot of comments. Our next interview is with Carlo the admin of Asian Pay. Our Yearly Private HYIPs Members Survey 2007 is also getting good responses

In a few weeks time we will be introducing Platinum Membership at Private HYIPs. Platinum members will gain full features, like max PM storage, ability to change user titles etc. There are about 15 advantages from basic membership compared to platinum membership

In addition to this we are looking at the possibility of a Private HYIPs debit card and also a gold nugget system for the forum where members gain gold nuggets for making posts, starting threads, voting in polls etc. They can then cash in their nuggets for banner spots, debit cards, upgrading to platinum membership etc.

So all in all everything is well on track to develop a profitable network of sites. Looking forward to everyone's input and ideas on the Private GFN Forum

GFN Members Update

1. Plans for the Future

We currently have 10 sites in the Network and still have at least another 5 in development. At this stage we will not roll out any more forums in the near future and will focus on rolling out new non forum sites such as "Golden Traffic". The main reason for this is so that we can focus on getting our existing forums rocking along nicely

We still have plans to establish a support office where programmers, designers and support staff will be based. This will increase revenue greatly as it will enable us to attract a lot of programming and design work and also customer support contracts. We already have 1 customer support contract that we are doing on a trial basis for a client. The support office will be established as soon as we have sufficient investors to enable us to set up the office and employ staff

2. Returns for May

Results for May will be posted on around the 5th of June. Returns will be paid via e-gold on around the same date

3. Google Page Ranks

Recent PR checks show that our sites are rating very well. The is manly due to numerous link exchanges that we have done over the last few months. This will really help to get our sites positioned well in search engines

GFN Members Update

1. Plans for the Future

We are also negotiating buying an existing forum, which to my knowledge is 1 of a kind. If successful in our tender this forum will complement our existing forums and will drive additional traffic to our network

We have chosen "grateful" as the Member of the Month for June 2007. Grateful is our forum admin at Private HYIPs and has done a wonderful job creating lots of interesting discussions on the forum. Another GFN members update

1. Support Office and Internet Cafe

Over the last week I have been doing some research on the best location for an office. I visited a number of locations in Bangkok and also in the Major Provinces. There are a number of medium sized offices that are reasonably priced that would suit our requirements

It is also worth considering making the office dual purpose with an Internet Cafe out the front and the Support Office at the back, this way we can utilise the facilities for maximum returns and profits. Unlike the US and Australia, Thais are familiar with the internet but the majority don't own their own computer but use Internet Cafes. Internet Cafes are extremely popular especially with University Students and are jam packed with people especially in the afternoon from around 2pm till 10pm. Internet Cafes are common in Bangkok but there is a huge demand for them in the large provincial centres

I visited one of these centres that only had one internet cafe using dial up. The service was very slow, the computers old and out dated and the cafe was very run down, however the cafe was packed from open to close

I have done some costings on the returns and they look quite attractive, with setup costs not being excessive due to the opportunity of making the office dual purpose

I will post mere details about this opportunity over the next week

2. Due Diligence on GFN

Due Diligence International (DDI) investigator "Gray Eminence" has asked to complete DD on GFN. I have agreed to his request and will be providing him with the relevant info over the next few weeks. GFN will then be one on the first programs reviewed by the DDI Network

PBF Club is also being reviewed by investigator "Grateful" and the review should be published shortly

3. New Sites

Its an exciting time at GFN as we are close to finalising a deal to buy an existing forum, to my knowledge it is a new concept that will be quite controversial. We are also setting up a joint venture site with a leading programmer and developer, more details about this site in the next few weeks. I am also in initial discussion with another Network about setting up our own Publisher and Advertiser site that will create a niche market using e-currencies. In addition to this we have highlighted that there are increasing number of "genuine" complaints against Google and their practices and are considering setting up a site where people can air their complaints about Publisher and Advertiser programs

4. Results for June 2007

Results for June will be posted on or around the 5th and returns paid to e-gold accounts. This month we will pay returns based on total investment in GFN not for individual spends. For example, if you invested $100 then other $100 you will receive 1 return payment not 2 individual return payments for 2 spends. This is to help reduce processing time

5. Member of the Month

GFN members update

1. New Site Development

Golden Traffic - A few delays with this site, as we are trying to find a suitable traffic re-seller. Our plans are to open this site in about a months time

Aqua Agri - We have decided that we will run this site as an informational type blog. Revenue will come from advertising and also from paid subscriptions to read articles

Joint Venture Site - we are still going a ahead with a joint venture site with a leading programmer and developer, however there have been some delays but we expect to launch the site sometime late in August

Purchasing Existing Sites - We are currently investigating buying an existing gardening forum and are still negotiating to buy another existing forum that will create a lot of interest and will certainly compliment our existing sites

2. New Super Moderators on the GFN Forum

Now that we are getting a few members on board Gray Eminence and nunulka have kindly agreed to help moderate the GFN forum

GE will mainly look after the French folder and Nina will be a global mod

6. Compounding

We have had a few enquiries about compounding. We don't offer compounding at this stage, you would need to re-invest your returns, as long as it is above the minimum of $20. A couple of members are doing this on a regular basis

In the future we may look at accounts for investors but at the moment it wouldn't be feasible to invest the money to get a programmer to do the program. Once we have around 100 investors and our own in house programmers, we will look at this again

GFN members update about the current situation with E-gold

1. E-gold Situation Going Downhill Fast

The e-gold situation has seemingly gotten worse. There are literally thousands of e-gold accounts that have been blocked over the last few weeks, and apparently many of these account holders don't even have the option to send in their personal data to e-gold to have them unblock their accounts. Many accounts have been blocked for no apparent reason

This situation should not effect GFN too much as most funds have been moved out of e-gold. We have been well prepared for this possibility and have been conducting an e-bullion trial over the last few months as a contingency

We will continue to accept e-gold for new investments until at least the end of this month (August)

We will monitor the situation and if necessary move completely away from e-gold as its becoming far too unstable and unreliable

I have read of at least one appeal which was won when according to the report e-gold contacted one member asking whether he was involved in running an HYIP, to which he replied he wasn`t.

As you say, the days of HYIPs and possibly autosurfs using e-gold seem to be numbered.

GFN Members Update

1. Internet Cafe

Over the last few weeks we have been able to secure a few larger investors. This now means that the Internet Cafe will proceed probably in about a months time and certainly before Christmas. As a result we will only be accepting a further 10,000 USD investment in GFN. Once that has been filled, GFN will be closed to new investments

2. New Sites

Over the last few months we haven't opened any new sites as we wanted to concentrate on building and developing our existing sites. Golden Hosting and Golden Domains are doing quite well now as we have been able to secure some long term clients. On the forum front Private HYIPs and Talk Thailand are getting lots of activity and are generating good Google revenue. The other sites are growing on a week by week basis. We are also starting to generate some good income from referrals

Unfortunately our bid to buy a couple of sites fell thro but we still will launch a couple of information blogs and a site that we are developing jointly with a leading programmer and developer

All in all its an exciting time at GFN and the future looks bright

GFN members update

1. Results for September 2007

The return was 2.03%

Returns will be processed to e-gold and e-bullion accounts a little later today

The result was a little disappointing for last month. From what I have established traffic on most forums (including forums like Talk Gold, Web Life etc) was way down last month due to the Summer Vacation Break in the US. Web traffic is traditionally quiet at this time of the year. This has resulted in Google adsense and advertising revenue being down for the month of September

The good news is that this will pass and we have already secured some advertising orders for October. DDI will also record income for this month for the first time plus we have some referral payments due this month. The other good news is that free membership at PH has finished and it will now cost $9.95 to join the forum. We have also introduced paid subscription upgrades for Gold and Diamond membership. This will certainly help to get monthly returns up to around 8 to 10% monthly

In a country like Thailand where probably relatively few actually own their own computers I would imagine Internet Cafes should do very well.

Last months result was a little disappointing but understandable as returns are based on actual returns from the network. A realistic target of between 7 to 10% per month is achievable. A 10% monthly return would give us a return on investment of 120% yearly. If we can achieve it, very good results for any business

3. Customer Support Service Contracts

We have had an enquiry from a potentially large Investment Company that is looking at outsourcing their payment processing. On a monthly basis they would send us a lump sum then we would distribute funds via various EFT (electronic funds transfer) methods to their investors. Actual Results for 2006 / 2007

GFN has been operating and paying returns for 1 year now. We achieved a return of investment of over 60% and an average of 5% per month for the last year. Which is a very solid result for any new business. If we continue with these returns, investments will be paid off in under 2 years. Most new businesses take at least 3 to 4 years to pay off their initial investments, so we are very excited and encouraged by our results for the first year of operations

As an incentive to all investors, GFN is offering a large collection of ebooks and a few MP3s for investors to download. I have looked over the collection and there are some very useful titles for various investment systems, and classics as well. GFN is moving forward toward the launch of its first Internet cafe in Thailand. Investors stand to earn a good increase in returns once this is up and running. A good model for others in the future.
The return for December was 2.15%.

Which all goes to show that there ARE programs out there which are genuine and pay out regularly, even though the returns aren`t what most `investors` seem to want - sky high, (and unrealistic).
