They spammed me with half a lira worth of silver - not even a penny in gold. Gak.

Just on the spam basis I think I'd stay away.

They spammed me with silver also. There is a cap on their E-gold account... so be careful. I backed off.

Basically they spend a minute fraction of Currency to your egold account.
And it is normally with a little message for you to query the payment .
It is another way of farming email addresses to sell to the vendors who purchase this form business practice.
And is classed as a form of indiscreet spamming.

I just checked my records. The administrator has a history of scamming -- 20X Gold among others.

The returns are total BS.

A nice juicy arb does pop up now and then but as a rule … the gain in arbitrage betting works out to less than 2% overall.

With twenty grand split between a dozen books or so and another twenty grand in reserves for restocking, you can make some nice monthly pocket money.

Here is an example:

FK Ventspils vs Rosenborg (24-Sept)

Bet $275 @ NB on FK Ven odds 6.5
Bet $471 @ PI on DRAW - odds 3.8
Bet $1000 @ SSP on Rosen - odds 1.79

Total amount bet = $1746
Total (gross) profit regardless of outcome = $43.60
That’s a gross profit of about 2.5%

Between Sept 24 to 28th, six (football) arb opps worth betting on …
Total amount bet = $10,809
Total gross profit: $120.10
That’s a gross profit of about 1.1%

There were other bets made that week (different sports) but I want to keep this simple.

My wife and I have been doing arb betting for over two years now, part time for fun.

After 27 months our monthly average (gross) gain comes to 1.33%

I have used the term GROSS because there IS overhead (expenses) involved.

Doing this full time would certainly generate more money (assuming you have the capital) but the percent gained remains about the same. Less Than 2%!
