New 007 film Casino Royale released this week

Daniel Craig is the new James Bond in the latest 007 movie - Casino Royale.
It goes on general release in the UK this coming Friday.
I plan on seeing it next Sunday and by all accounts it lives up to the usual expectations. 
Anyone else here a Bond fan?

Who was your favourite 007 out of Sean Connery, David Niven, George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan? 
It`s a bit too soon to include Daniel Craig isn`t it?

Bond has tangled with plenty of beautiful villanettes too. This has possibilites for the ladies' yearning for "other lives".

From the beginning I knew this wasn`t going to be the `usual` in Bond films. How often does 007 roll up in a Ford for instance?
Out of the six of us who went to see it, one was really disappointed, a couple loved the film, and the other 3 (including myself), were fine about it. Not the best by any means, but good enough to be absorbed in the story, (though a bit thin). It IS different to the normal offerings, certainly didn`t feature the usual car chases and lacked the gadgets we`ve come to know and love - still good though. Maybe slightly overlong at almost 2 and a half hours, but it never reached the boring stage.
As for Daniel Craig? Slightly wooden most of us felt. Passable, but no Sean or Pierce.
And golddust, true to form yes there are one or two `lovelies` in it too.
