I have turned off SSL for the time being, all website requests will be forwarded to http://insecure.nova-lights.com. You can still make deposits and withdrawals and check your balance. It will just be like the website was last week without SSL.

I'll turn SSL back on once the host has fixed the problem.

The hosting company is having trouble. It will be fixed as soon as possible!!!

Please stop attempting to log on. Tyler is working with the hosting company but the constant login attempts (over 1500 at one time) are really making things difficult.

Memorex, maybe this will incline people to stop talking shit about programs that pay out on a consistent basis. [-X

Based on their track record, I'm confident that Star Game, Pegasus and TMA will soon be up, running, and fully functional. And if not, most of us who've invested should be in profit by now anyway.
[-o<

The uninformed people that have spent more time trashing viable, paying programs instead of learning how to properly tend to their investment portfolios must having a great time, as they continue to lose their money. ](*,)

The next individual I see talking shit about a viable program that pays on a consistent basis, I will challenge them to learn how to personally trade FOREX AND STOCK OPTIONS UNTIL THEY CAN TURN A PROFIT on a regular basis, set up their own HYIP, and administrate it without a missed payment for the next two years.

Karin forum mod at NL posted this at talkgold:

Here is the official announcement:

Greetings,

Nova-Lights.com has been under heavy DDOS attacks for the past few days (The same attacks e-gold was under a few weeks ago) which is making our website unavailable for almost all users.

We are doing everything in our power to get the website back in normal order, but it's not easy. We are currently working with our upstream provider, tracking the attacks and stopping them.

In the mean time, You can access the websites by the following:

Nova-Lights:

http://insecure.nova-lights.com:8080/

Forum:

http://forum.nova-lights.com:8080

Please note, SSL is not enabled at this time due to the attacks. Feel free to pass along the information to the others so they can access their balances/deposits.

We hope to have everything remain to normal within the next 24 hours.

Thank you for your support.

For the admins,
Tyler

The forum link works but it's really slow loading, for mr anyway. The other link doesn't work for me at all, I get an Apache error page. I guess the best thing to do is just chill out and wait and try not to make it worse by trying to log in there until they tell us.

Posted by: Runner7

This may or may not help you. I had to go to the nova-lights.com sight and add the links from there to access the sights again. I deleated my old links as they kept getting load errors. This has seemed to solve the problem for me. Good luck.

If that was any other HYI can you imagine the rumors that would be going on. I am suprised some of the anti NL folks havent jumped on this one.

They did try many many times and have learned their lessons :

](*,) --> --> ](*,) --> :idea:

It won't work, that simple !

Incredible the number of posts about this problem since anyone was able to look at his account and see the payments... :-k

Posted by: obh

I was able to log into both my accounts and everything was fine, just as I expected, but it's nice to be able to have that confirmation. \/

Posted by: gringo

payments are still being done into our egold accounts - so just a little patience my friends - patience is a very valuable asset in this arena !!!

take care

As of today, the DDoS attack on the server hosting Star Game, Pegasus and TMA appears to have resumed.

I had a little trouble, but was still able to get into the NL forum, but as of right now, I can't access the website.

This link was posted in a thread in the TalkGold forum:

Strategies to Protect Against Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) Attacks
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/707/newsflash.html

This may help those who aren't technically inclined understand why the website is alternating between being accessible and non-accessible.

I seem to have missed something here is there point to this statement regarding something I said or is it a generalisation of the HYIP arena

Iam sure you are correct in regards to this trilogy of programs but I still dont know who has spurred you on to this statement

This is what I call human nature as people tend to see the platform
or podium and would like to step up on it,but they forget the vital ingredient needed which is experience in the field they talk about.

I hope you have a a lot of time to spare as this may turn out to be lifelong challenge with some of the people around as there is a lot of that expelled in this HYIP Arena (****)I mean.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Since some people here don't read updates posted in other forum topics on this forum, here is Tyler's explanation for site downtime (Dec.9)

-------------
The attacks have started again this morning.

We have moved the forum over to another server, so everyone can still communicate about Nova-Lights.com.

Please do not freak out, NL isn't ending, or anything to that sort. The company still exists, even though the website isn't functional at this time.

Daily payouts for non-compounding members still go out, as it's not required for the webserver to be up.

You should all receive your payments on time. The only thing that this affects is withdrawals and deposits at this time. I'm sorry but there's nothing we can do regarding it.

Thanks!
Tyler

This message could be found in the forum topic "Welcome to the Nova-Lights Private Forum" in the thread "Nova-Lights.com Downtime - Dec 3rd-5th" at http://forum.nova-lights.com/viewtopic.php?t=1197

So be sure to READ updates posted in other forum topics before posting a question that is already answered...

Don't mind me, Memorex, I'm just disgusted with the attacks on viable programs that have a track record of paying consistently, while the people making these attacks continue to lose their money in slick scams trying to pass themselves off as legitimate.
