E-gold stops dealing?

Hi there,
I heard that e-gold stops dealing in January 2007 with some countries. Is it true? What countries and why the services are stopped?
Yes, it’s true. E-gold company has some problems with FBI and some other guys. Some big illegal amounts passed through their payment system. So now their services will look more like the paypal system. After February, 2007 they stops service accounts from Russia and ex-Soviet Union.
Does anybody know how will they control if their client is from Russia or from another country? What about the accounts from Russia that has money? Will the owners get it? Or the money will be frozen? Thanks.
