Mental attitude of a scammer?

Memorex if you would give us a little insight on why they do it the way they do.
So many scams lead you on with a song and dance even when its all over. I cant figure what the gain of such a tactic would be.
Why when the jig is up do they keep coming back with these "Im very sorry storys"? Why dont they just sail off into the sunset and relax?
Just has no purpose that I can see.

One of the best reasons that I can come up with is to be able to say 'I tried' when they open the next scam. It's been amazing for me the last 2 months to find out that these people operate scam after scam, and back each other up. As for the 'actual' reason?
I think a lot of it is an attempt to keep people from looking into their activities, to find out what REALLY was going on. 'throw off the hounds', as it may be, gain more time to cover tracks, disappear, etc...
Just my opinion,
Jeff

This is true, Jeff. I cannot count the scams I have seen where the scammer has proclaimed: "But if this were a scam I would have run, I wouldn't still be here!"

And then goes on to open their next scam. The reason? Maybe because people continue to fall for it? I don't know. But they keep pouring money into the programmes that these guys open, and keep losing it. Maybe one day this community as a whole will hold admins to a higher standard. Until then, I think we will see only more of the same.

Well this must be the $64000.00 question.

How to delve into a scammers mind to see what makes it tick.

My first line of thinking would be related to their outright need to win which all gamblers or crooks need to have .

They obviously do need to win and cheat as much as possible to reach their goal in their quest for fortune .

Once this is done then there next goal is to be able to duplicate their efforts opening up as many of these type of scams as possible.

Which would feed of each other and will also duplicate their deceit and trail of fraud through the HYIP community.

Which in doing so gives them more and more confidence, winning through with their quest for fortune it also then makes it more difficult to trace because of the way they hide their trail through their many different avenues.

Of course there is a monetary reason as well and they are all filled with the same fault greed and the more they steal the better the buzz they get, from seeing people floundering after losing their life's savings on one of these so called wonder investments.

And they also tell you what you want to hear, this the art of the door to door salesman, who can sell an Arab a bucket of sand or a camel.

Which then leads them to our main fault ,which is greed also , and they use it, to their advantage, to trap the HYIP er's, who keep on looking for the golden goose, that will lay their golden egg.

Of course we all know that this a fantasy story and no one should actually believe or have anything to do with such nonsensical ideals which they perpetrate to one and all on the world wide web.

But no matter how much we try to warn the people of this, it is, or seems, a futile task ,as it is happening all too regular ,no matter what advice is given.

As for them leading us on after the dastardly deed is done , this normally a ploy to give them time to move there funds to a safer position.

But to me they are not as smart as they think they are, because if I was in the position to be like them.

I would have moved the funds long before and only would have in place enough funding to control the program until my date of disappearance.

They then try to pass it off as an excusable ploy that they were hacked or they lost a large amount of funds and always through no fault of their own and cannot carry on because of this.

I can only think they obviously believe in themselves so much and because we were gullible enough to invest in the first place that we will be stupid enough to believe their **** and Bull story

Our Gold Commerce friend "Patryn" comes to mind with this argument but his story was so full of holes he had to disappear as he couldn't take the heat he was getting from the people he scammed and had the temerity to try and brazen his way out of it.

But the scammer ,fraudster or crook whichever you call him comes in all shapes and sizes and has a sophisticated outlook in the HYIP arena now and the main reason they get away with it is their hidden Identity.
