The adbuy options will now remain as they are listed below. We will never raise the maximum buy amount. We may add more adbuy options in the future, but not at this time. We have lowered the maximum buy amount so that 6 months down the road we don't run into the problems that the number one autosurfs always run into. I've lowered the max amount also because I don't want this site turning into a 'cash cow'. By lowering the maximum buy amount we can continue SLOWLY building a great autosurf company.

Profit Share (Earn up to 125%), maximum buy $1000.00
8% daily for 15 days (120%), maximum buy $100.00
7% for 22 days (154%), maximum buy $200.00
6% for 30 days (180%), maximum buy $300.00
5% daily for 45 days (225%), maximum buy $400.00
4% daily for 60 (240%), maximum buy $500.00
1% for 270 days (270%), maximum buy $2500.00

Total $5000.00 maximum adbuys.

If you already have more then the maximum, you may continue surfing on them until they expire.

Since the total max adbuys are now lowered to 1/7 of what it was before, we are now able to allow you to purchase adbuys with earnings, not to exceed the max amount allowed per adbuy option.
The adbuy options above are structured so that members are geared toward purchasing longer lasting advertising packages, this allows ManicAds to become even more stable and more profitable for the long term for both members and owners.

Legal stuff:
I started the site as one man with a vision and the members helped build the site. We were not incorporated when we started and I was not familiar with certain limitations, disclaimers and liabilities.
Since then we have become an LLC, hired a lawyer, an accountant and two employees.
As per the lawyer, some of the terminology on the site is also being changed. Please read carefully.
The term 'adbuy earnings' might have been misconstrued to mean something other then what it really is;
Whenever 'adbuy earnings' is displayed on ManicAds it is being used as a term with the meaning: 'advertising rebates'.
Advertisers receive 'advertising rebates' based on their advertising.
From this point on, ManicAds will no longer refer to members as 'free members' and/or 'upgraded members'.
Anyone who signs up at ManicAds is a 'member'.
Anyone who DOES NOT purchase an adpack is a member.
Anyone who DOES purchase an adpack is both a member AND an 'advertiser'.
ALL members now have the ability to earn regardless of the fact if they are an advertiser or not.
ALL members will receive between .07 & .11 cents for surfing 15 sites daily (advertiser or not).
If you are a member and are NOT an advertiser you will receive .07 to .11 cents each day you surf.
If you are a member and you ARE also an advertiser you will receive .07 to .11 cents each day you surf PLUS your 'advertising rebates'.
So really nothing has changed except terminology and members who don't buy adpacks can now get up to .11cents a day for surfing.

As per the accountant, the self-audit is not intended to be used as a personal finance calculator or to accurately reflect your personal accounting. It is a tool for verifying that your ManicAds account is in order and should not be used as a personal accounting resource. The terms used in the self-audit such as payables and receivables do not necessarily have the same meaning as those terms when they are used by accountants.

Two new employees. One to help me with the overwhelming amount of work I am now encountering. I am programming for ManicAds and at this time 32 other sites. One of the employees is also a programmer and he will be assisting with programming. The other employee has been hired to handle support. Right now our average support response time is 17 hours. I hope to reduce this to less then 8 hours as an average response time.

Self-Audit:
For those of you who haven't yet seen the Self-Audit feature we highly recommend checking it out. Many members have used it already and have been pleased with the results. The self-audit also has a more accurate and detailed record of your history and statistics then anywhere else in the members area. (the self audit is not intended to be used as a personal finance accounting tool)

Banner editing:
Members you may now edit the banners you purchase. In the statistics in your members area there is a link next to any banners you have purchased. You may update your banners there.

Text ad editing:
Coming soon. Will be the same format as banner editing with an edit link next to the text ads in your statistics.

New as of Feb 1st.
Dozens of members have been asking if they can send money to other members, I think someone even started a poll for it at the forum. I've checked into it and it is a touchy topic with my lawyer so I don't think we will be able to do that at this time. On a similar but separate note, we will be allowing members to purchase Manicredits. Manicredits are a product that can be used for featured banner rotation spots that will be coming soon, since Manicredits are a product they can also be given to other members. Manicredits are a product and are intended for featured banner rotations, but since they are a product they can be sent to other members of ManicAds. There is no cost or fee to give Manicredits to other members of ManicAds. Members may also sell Manicredits to Manicads for cash. More details and explanations of Manicredits will be in the members area before Feb 1st.

If you have been at the forums you will see that I have been against this from the beginning. Buying from earnings or 'compounding' as some call it, destroys a program. Having an earnings cash and a deposited cash will also allow you to keep track of your earnings vs. the money you deposited. By doing this, you won't be able to buy adbuys with earnings 'compounding' unless you transfer money from your earnings to deposited cash. The transfer fee is the same as the fasttrack fee. The fee from the compounding will go to the earnings pool to increase the average earnings.
With this in place you can continue as usual or use the OPTIONAL compounding feature, if you think the transfer/compounding fee is too high then you have the option not to use it.
The average earnings should now start to rise an average of a percent or two. (this is not a guarantee, just an estimate/guess on my part based on how things have went since the start of the program)
3 benefits of having an earnings balance and a deposited balance:
1. Slows compounding.
2. If someone does compound the fees will increase the earnings pool which increases the earnings
3. No more confusion about where your earnings go. (we receive about 20 tickets a day from people asking where we put their money) Now you have two separate balances deposit (for spending) and earning (for withdraws).

Manicredits is just about completed....

The monitor is almost finished being updated as well, so submission will be accepted again in a few days.

SolidTrustPay is being added as another optional payment processor to use. I have already confirmed my account there and wrote the auto purchase script for ManicAds. I would like members to vote at the forum and let me know if they would like to see SolidTrustPay added.

I appreciate the fact that everyone has remained so calm throughout all of this. I want to thank you for all of your support. While it may be possible to salvage this and keep going, I feel there is already a downward spiral starting. There are too many 'ifs' in place for me to take the risk and continue running the program. 'If' egold unblocks the accounts, 'if' members continue to support after having no withdraws to egold for weeks, 'if' egold never releases the accounts. You all know I am a programmer, I am also an autosurfer. I created this program with only other autosurfers in mind. I wanted a place where we could all make money without worry of the admin changing this or that or running off with our money. That is why from day one the program has been built, ran and powered by members. If I was to continue ManicAds and egold didn't release the funds I would be relying on new money and we all know that those programs only last up to 6 months, I could lower the return on the profit share but that would only discourage many. I feel I have explored all options and the best option for the sake of the members is closing the program and issuing rebates so that everyone will be in profit or at least break even. I don't not want to run in the red and then in a few months run out of money and owing thousands of members. I wouldn't have a dime and I'd still be labeled a thief and a scammer and members would be out thousands of dollars. It would be a bad situation for everyone. And finally I am tired, it is exhausting being the admin and the programmer at the same time. With this recent event I can not physically or mentally do it anymore. That said, it is with deep regret that I must make this announcement, ManicAds will be closing and I will now begin issuing advertising rebates.
Advertising rebates will be as follows.
My goal with the rebates is that I am trying to get everyone to a break even point, even though our terms clearly say that we are not responsible for payment processors holding our funds and that there are no guarantees that you will earn anything and that you may lose money, BUT I won't feel right unless I try to get everyone at least to a break even point.
You may login to your ManicAds account, click on the giant 'REBATE' link. This will subtract your total deposits from your total cashouts. If you have received more cashouts then you've deposited then you are in profit and are not eligible for a rebate. This will also tell you if and how much of a rebate you will receive to break even.
You will have the option to withdraw to any processor that you have on file.
This will be done in phases.
1-3 days from now, Phase 1, I will start making alertpay and tri-star payouts. This will be completed within a few days.
1-7 days from now, phase 2, I have set up another egold account and I am wiring some money to that account. I will payout as much as I have to those who requested to egold.
1-10 days from now, Phase 3, anyone left over after phase 2 (it will be only those that have ONLY an egold account on file and that didn't receive a rebate to egold from phase 2) will then have the option to enter an alertpay or tri-star account, and I will pay to that account.
The whole process may take up to 10 days depending on if I will need to wire more money from my bank account to any of the processors.
All rebate requests must be submitted by Wednesday at the latest. After Wednesday rebate requests will NOT be open until all phases have been completed. It is in your best interest to request your rebate BEFORE Wednesday. The reason behind me wanting you to request your rebate by Wednesday is that it will give me an accurate count of how much money is needed to pay out everyone to a break even point so I know who much money I need to wire to the payment processors. This will help make rebate processing smooth and in a timely manner for the members.
I also understand that many members will understand my decision perfectly, others will call me a quitter or think I'm giving up and others will be very upset, I hope that everyone, even if they are not happy with this decision, understands that breaking even is better then losing everything. I hope the speedy manner in which rebates are done is worth at least some respect in your eyes. If I do not reopen ManicAds I thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve you as an admin. Thank you for all your support and thank you for helping to build what I believe was the greatest autosurf ever created.

Remember if you have a pending egold rebate you may click on the second rebate link in your members area and request a payment to another processor. I have more money in Tri-Star then any other so requests to tri-star will be the quickest route. Some problems corrected in AdsMania that were not foreseen in Manicads:
Egold. We will be accepting egold. I have created a series of automated scripts, this is how it works. Every ten minutes all funds are automatically transferred from one account to another, funds are then automatically transferred to a 1mdc account for added security. This way if egold does ever block our account, we only lose ten minutes worth of funds so we will never have to do a dramatic closing again. All payments to you for cashouts will be made from another egold account, so please remember that when you receive your egold payouts they will be from a different egold number then the one you made a purchase to. Autosurf Admins if you are interested in my automated egold transferring script from egold account to egold account to 1mdc please contact me. The script is fully automated and you may also set a cron to do it every 10minutes, 1 hour etc. This way you too won't have to worry about egold blocking your account because even if they do you are safe and sound with your gold elsewhere.

We now also offer different account types, Basic Premium and Secure. Each account type has different fees and different options please read about them on the AdsMania homepage and within your members area. We are now the first and I believe the only autosurf which offers accounts with Guarantees!

Solid Trust Pay. Will be added by March.
