Our HYIG is intended for people willing to play for money but unable to do so because they're not not in a position to do in anywhere else.
The-HYIG.org is a long term High Yield Investment Game (HYIG), backed up by strong ratings and forum presence. Profits from the game are used to pay domain registration, hosting, monitoring, eGold and administrative fees.

Why a HYIG?
Speaking from harsh experience, all HYIPs are ponzi's, they always disappear sooner or later. Some pay out less than half their investors and a few don't pay anyone at all with the tens of thousands of dollars they stole, leaving everyone bar themselves out of pocket. HYIGs on the other hand and this one in particular, state the risks involved and set a predetermined limit on exactly how much will be payed out before a round closes. This means that the game is based less on dumb luck but rather strategy; how much to invested in what plan at which time, when to deposit and when to cash out. The-HYIG.org will be around for a long time unlike HYIPs that come and go overnight which allow the player to build a good relationship our administration and visa versa.

How this HYIG works:
1. Money is deposited by the player.
2. This money accumulates a return at a set amount for a set period of time.
3. This return can be withdrawn at any time by the player.
4. When the ratio of Withdrawals to Deposits is equal to 90%, the round will be over.
5. The amounts are reset and a new round begins.

TheHYIP welcome to Web-life and thanks for introducing your game. I assume you will continue to offer 'rounds' on an indefinite basis? You are right about their being a strategy to programs offering returns similar to yours and I notice you have included low spending limits which will control for dominance by high spenders in the game.
In the future, posting payouts here is viewed as a way to bump up your thread, so it is discouraged. For the purpose of providing ongoing information, posting your stats would be most helpful, as a strategic tool and for feedback.

I can understand where you're coming from, however we have already thought of that, that is why the 1 Day plan has a significantly greater return; more than 3 and a half times greater profit if you invest in the 1 day plan rather than the 24 hour plan, and a massive 28.75 times more if you have invested in the 3 day plan on $1.

In short, it is all about strategy.

Yes unfortunately, but apart from advertising on boards, monitors, banners and honouring all withdrawal requests during the game, there's not much else that can be done in terms of promotion.

It takes time to build a reputation as a good "game" program admin. The longer your rounds will run, the greater interest people will have. In order to have real success at doing this you have to do some creative planning to keep the Hit and Runners from spoiling the profits and length of the game.

I already have a referral competition for this round and a competition for 501st post (http://www.moneymakergroup.com/inde...howtopic=128454) both paying directly to e-gold, I am not sure what else can be done in terms of creative planning.

Looking towards the end of the second round. It has been quiet but as the people who did play learnt I always pay on time and answer all their questions. I even got up for over an hour at 3am just to answer people's emails and send payments.

Currently the site is having some issues with its internal mailing system so I am not receiving support requests and the site has not been sending payment processed notices. However, all processes have been paid, you only need to log in again to see the amount and batch number.

ROUND 3 LAUNCHED!

With the launch of Round 3 has come a new referral rates where the users with only a few referrals can earn a greater piece of the pie while the seasoned supporters can still receive more than their fair share, for example 10 referees depositing $10 when you are earning 12% commission is better than 1 referee with $10 at 20%.
These kind of rates can be sustained because of the new system of interest earning where the rate of return slowly builds up over 7 days from 1%, 2%, 4%, 8%, 16%, 32% all the way up to 64% on the final day. Graphically, your return in this plan looks like this:

Money refunded and even if I was motivated to get a new host, there is no interest for this game.

Money refunded is not entirely true. I know a player who put in $10, and was refunded 0.30.
Earnings = 0.60. (.10+.20+.30). Could explain why there is no interest for this game; do you know how often players get stiffed like this?
