Tell us what do you think about hyips, autosurfs etc. Do you think all hyips are scams? Is it possible to earn a lot of money from investing in these programs?
Please share your opinion here.

I think hyips and autosurfs they are either:

- plain scams
- scams attended with some real trading to get more believers :-)
- honest programs which simply can't make the outrage returns they hope for
- honest programs, but incompetently run which leads to failure
- programs started with honest intentions, but turned into scams when the admin saw so much money
- pools which invest in other HYIPs - often they are real, but rare they can achieve good ROI and usually fall

But can you still make money from investing in HYIPs? Yes, I think so. The sooner you stop believing that you invest and understand that you gamble, the sooner you will start making money.

By saying "you", I don't mean really you, I know you know that game

If you want to really invest for high yield, I'd suggest looking at managed accounts at first. And of course not to expect 10% monthly or so

Good point, clifton. Most are no more than a game. The thing with ponzis is timing, get in at the right time and get out at the right time and you may make some money, not that I agree with ponzis.

When you see the likes of `3% return a day` then you just know it can`t be `investing` as such. Investments are often more like 3% or a little more per month in the HYIP arena, though less than that in banking type investments of course.

As was previously stated timeing is everything, knowing when to get in and when to get out remember due disigence is not a guarantee that any program may be legit.

I agree with all clifton has said above. And the most important rule to remember in this "business" is to use common sense and not to be naive. Because there are still some people thinking that programs with high returns can be "real". Also timing is an important thing and the sooner you start "playing", the better chance you reach profit.

Although I agree with 99% of what - ALL of you guys are saying ... there's that 1% that say's different and fortunately for me that 1% is reflected in my bank account!

One year ago this month I received my first interest payment of 15% and received 15% per month for the next 6 months which of course escalated my account balance!

And for the next 6 months - I had to accept ONLY 12.5% per month!

And NOW sitting in my bank account is 4 times what I started off with...

People really can earn with High Yield Programs - you just have to find that 1% that are 'REAL'! And they are out there!

I also believe that there are honest HYIP's out there. The problem off course is to find them. They are outnumbered by the scam and ponzi programs.
And being an honest trading HYIP, doesn't mean it will last forever. Bad trading or bad management can also cause a program to go down.

And if we are playing high yield, we must expect to take high risks. Even with the ' honest' hyips.

Since the word HYIP can represent many things I will say no they aren't all scams.
