ATM Card Info
December 14, 2003

Dear Clients:

We want to take this opportunity to provide an accurate and comprehensive update on the debit cards. In the last 4 weeks we have had several thousands of debit cards ordered (3257 to be exact) from customers worldwide.

The incredible response to this card caught many by surprise, including the card processor. As many of you are aware, the card processor has been unable to keep up our card order requests and therefore many customers are still waiting for their card orders. Less than two weeks ago, the card processor informed us that changes had to be made to their XML funding platform in order to process the card funding requests in the 24 hour time frame they had originally agreed to. They notified us that these changes would take approximately one week and that during this time no card fundings could be processed.

On Friday December 12, 2003 the card processor informed us that the funding platform was ready and that they could supply us with all the cards we needed to get the back orders caught up. HOWEVER, in order for us to proceed with funding and shipping, the card processor was requesting we first sign a 10-year exclusive and restrictive agreement with them. It seems the card processor realized the scope of how much profit they could gain from our customers and demanded we commit to a one-sided 10-year contract, when the original agreement was for a 1-year renewable term. If we did not agree to their terms, they would cancel our cards and existing agreement. We found this action to be highly unprofessional, unacceptable, and tantamount to extortion. We are taking it under advisement whether we will pursue legal action after the first of the year for breach of contract, loss of current and future income, interruption of business etc…..

As a result of this sudden turn of events, we are saddened to report that the Evocash card program is hereby cancelled. Neither X-Changers nor Evocash will do business with a company exhibiting these highly questionable business practices, nor will we subject customers to this behavior. We have witnessed debit card companies come and go for the last several years because of card processors or banks changing their original agreements. Because we adhere to standard, honorable business practices, we will not risk contracting with another possibly questionable debt card company, and we will not be looking at any other card programs in the future.

Anyone who has received a card or is waiting for a card will receive a full refund over the next 10 days. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused and we are just as frustrated as you are. This situation has cost us a great deal of time, programming and money. Nevertheless, we will accept the loss and see to it that everyone receives a full refund. All customers will get back all of their funds; we will cover the loss of the $10 payments to referrers; FedEx costs, etc. Again, please accept our deepest apologies for this unforeseeable situation.

We know how frustrating this must be for you but please do not write to us on this because we cannot add anything to what we have said here already. Our main priority now is to get you a refund on anything that is due to you.

We wish everyone and their families a joyous holiday season.

I am a little bemused as to why they did not investigate their contractial obligations and the terms of the contract in more detail b4 going ahead with the full scale launch

I did however rec. a prompt refund via EVO Cash =D>

Debit cards do appear to be a problem, for many reasons. The only one I've been really satisfied with is my ebullion card, but I haven't used it in a while, either...

I've come to the conclusion that a number of supposedly reputable companies will alter their contractual agreements with you at the last minute and attempt manipulate you into agreeing to terms that would leave you with all the duties, obligations and liabilities, as they take up most of the benefits.

The idea behind this is that it's assumed by companies that do this, that your contact negoiation options are limited, and/or you are in a financial deficit, and would therefore be open to yielding to this extortion.

I'm certain that is the case with X-Changers/Evocash's issue with
the card processor. Greed is something.... ](*,)

By the way, let me add that my experiences with E-Bullion's debit card have been nothing but satisfactory, and I believe I may have a means of getting E-Bullion's debit card to those outside the US.

PM me for details if you're interested.

Still happy with Loyal - Fidex, still the best after
testing many others.

PayLynx Master Card through debitgold.biz looked
very good in July but is now discontinued as well.

If I were looking for an international card, I would seriously consider Loyalbank. But, please consider, my experience there is limited. I had an account there when I was working with CashEvolution, but have since lost the account, due to inactivity.
(Another MLM that didn't work out for me). I also have a GlobalOnecard (from freecashcards). Haven't used it in a while, and with all of the changes there lately, my personal experience is out of date. Personally, I've had no problems with it, other than funding delays (Surprise?). Will know more in a couple months, hopefully. (I'm always trying to look long term).

Doro, you must have some good contacts, with what you've been offering. (Just observation)

I haven't had any problems with the Loyal Bank card - and you can fund the card direct through e-gold to Loyal, through the London Gold Exchange, by bank wire, or from another Loyal account.

Customer service is also very good there.

It doesn't work at point-of-sale here, but it works fine at bank machines.

Cheers -

I have always gone back to using my own bank visa debit card which I have been able to use where ever in the world I am residing. This is underwritten by Lloyds TSB London and Visa.

I can fund my bank account through the L.G.E. from my E-Gold account and withdraw it at any major ATM and is accepted on all P.O.S. to date.

Never had a hiccup with it either as long as their is funding in it .
