A couple of days ago the Admin account here was hacked. Not a lot of damage seems to have been done by the hacker, but a Trojan was downloaded on to the script.
I received this from one of our mods who was among the first to notice something was wrong.

Also, I received a couple of PMs off the hacker asking for $25 with an e-gold no. If anyone else did then obviously this should be ignored.
The trojan was removed within about 12 hours of it being put on, so please do a scan just to make sure your computer hasn`t been infected.

This kind of stuff will never end folks, as long as technology continues to advance, people will discover ways to outsmart it, or continue to try. It is human nature.

It looks like the trojan have not affected FF and Opera users even if they have no antivirus, but not sure about IE At leats noone complained yet.
at least 3 files (dll) tried to download to my system32 fold just now.
there are still sth on site.

Thanks friend for this information but from this one thing is solved that think kind of think like hacking can never end..as the technology go on the tops the hackers are also once to make that techniques vanishes..they always try to destroy the good and better techniques which are helpful to others.

It's true, hackers seem to take pride in cracking the code to get into a programs code or ecurrency accounts. They often have an ongoing chat somewhere to discuss and share their attempts and successes. The trick is to stay one step ahead of them.
At leats noone complained yet.
