Today I have received over 5 fake e-gold emails.
One claiming to be from the "Verification Department"
One Claiming to be from "E-gold Service"
and a few others.
I'm amazed that these scammers still send these out

I get a lot of those within a week but through my mailwasher I just blacklist them immediately and send them back to the server that sends them.

I usually get 5 or 6 a day. Some of the best ones I forward to DDU@E-gold...
What a waste...

The Spam e-mails sent by this Spammer who claims to be "e-gold Service" were sent from this IP address : 217.17.86.254
But the best way to avoid from being trapped by these type of Spammer/Scammer is actually a very easy procedure to follow, a preventive simple recommendation from e-Gold :
Quote:
For your security, never click a link in an email message to get to the e-gold web site
Anytime we receive e-mail from "e-Gold" just do this simple rule : delete it, and we'll be saved once and for all.
