Does anybody know what's going on w/ open2exchange?
No e-bullion being offered?
Have used them and was very impressed with the instantaneous and immediate conversion of e-gold to e-bullion.
Now, I can't find any e-bullion being offered for e-currency conversion at open2exchange.
Got this from another board and has me all confused --
"I emailed open2exchange about e-bullion and this is the reply:
'We are waiting on e-bullion for some answers before we can answer your question.
e-bullion is an insecure system. Many customers of e- bullion have had their accounts hacked and their gold stolen. Sometimes the hacker uses our auto exchange to exchange the e-bullion to e-gold. e-bullion are unhappy about this, and instead of making their system more secure, they have decided to prevent our exchange from operating.
Of course, the hackers will continue to steal gold from e- bullion
accounts, but will use other means of escaping with the gold.
If you would like to see our exchange re-instated, please e-mail
e-bullion customer service and tell them.
Regards,
Sidd.' "
Well, I know this is hearsay and it would better to go direct to both open2exchange and e-bullion for some answers.

Yes, it appears that Open2Exchange has removed their e-bullion services. Open2Exchange would be an excellent tool for hackers so I see where e-bullion is coming from. Anyways, E-bullion's system is secure. The problem is, they don't have the srk feature. Though they do have the crypto card. If you are needing an e-bullion exchange, I believe that paybygold.com still offers e-bullion exchanges, though i'm not sure.

Which makes their system unsecure.
Security is only as strong as its weakest link. If 30% of e-bullion users use a Cryptocard, the Cryptocard provides LITTLE BENEFIT in terms of the security of the whole system -- crackers, using keyloggers, will instead go after the other 70% who aren't using a Cryptocard.
