Yes, egold has a lot to do with it, however, Imo, due process in the US judicial system will delay any immediate 'changes' in egold, other than what some other people have noticed.
Many people, especially students, are offline for the summer. It is surprising how many students participate in HYIPs to try to earn some extra money for their living expenses.
In general, activity slows down. The great outdoors call, in fact, I hear it now... a beverage on the deck to enjoy the afternoon sun, and watch for deer moving in on my garden....

I also believe it's both because of the e-gold issue and the Summer. All the forums I visit seem to be less active recently
