I think some of you are missing a couple of important points.... First, it was talked about earlier in this thread, and discussed, about how little from each member goes towards Advertising. If that was all there was to it, I'd have to agree with Ian - it has little chance of working on it's own. But I don't agree, and here's why.... They have made it clear from the beginning that they will be selling the sponsorship of members, that the company brings in through company Advertising. Pay attention now, it was what they said next that really got my interest up.... they said they will be re-investing the money they bring in from selling members to buy MORE advertising to bring in MORE members. So we all like to speculate... let's have a little fun.... Let's say, for easy math, there are 1,000 BT members whose portion of membership gives a budget of $10,000 the company can use to bring in members. Let's say, just for an easy guess, that it costs them $200 to bring in 1 member and they sell each member for $250. That means, using their $10,000 advertising budget, they bring in 50 new members. As a result of selling them, they now have an additional $12,500 the NEXT month on top of 1050 BT members Advertising ($12,500 new member revenue + $10,500 Ad budget from 1,050 members) and you can see where this is going.... They have just MORE than doubled their Ad budget in ONE MONTH> Now I am purely speculating, but you can see the implications. What I am VERY curious to find out is how much they will be selling members for, and how much it is costing them per member. Now we come to my second point.... You guys seem focused on your trees. Who cares about your tree? That is not where the real money is in this program, whether you are a Passive Member or not. I used to be the same way, but since they introduced BMC's I see a whole new perspective on what The Berry Tree is and what it can be! First of all, look how many people have become unhappy BECAUSE they focused on their tree. Or let's play this out and I think you will see what I mean... Let's say we bring in another 32,000 people and fill the next level in BT (or something around that number, I am just basing that on what people have been speculating about from Advanced Placement) Yes, now your people all have 1 level of people under them, but now you have 32,000 people who are unhappy, ESPECIALLY if they are focusing on their tree and what they got for spillover, etc. Now your bottom people, ONLY now have their positions paid for by their membership, which is nice, don't get me wrong, and you now are making, lets say, an additional $200 a month from having your 2nd level full (the additional would go to pay for your new position that would open so it does not count). Wow...Is that such a big deal? Did you sign up to make an additional $200 a month? Ok, so bear with me, let's look at what happened to the Bonus Pools at the same time. I want to play with some numbers, but please keep the following in mind, before you start quoting me what the pools are now...... The Bronze pool is getting more money in December. Soon (they will decide on particulars at convention and announce it shortly thereafter) but they are putting some kind of requirements on what level you have to be at in BT, in order to qualify for getting paid from your Nutronix qualifications in BT. So this will weed MOST of the people (Regional and above) from the Bonus Pools now and will ROCKET the amount per share from those pools. (so how the hell do I know this? Let's just say, I'm a good friend of Matt's and he let me pick his brain and let a few things spill about what he is working on. If he finds out I'm telling you....!!!) Ok, so let's look at just the Bronze pool for example..... We add another 32,000 x $1.5 from the new members, + $1 x however many members there are total (let's say 7,500 + 32,000 for this example) and we'll keep the number of Bronze people close to now, but add, let's say 70 more to be close to reality so that would give us 100 people that are qualified for the Bronze pool. Add it all up and divide by 100 and you get the total for each share of Bronze.... 7500 + 32,000 x $2.5 = $98,750/100 = $987.50 now, let me ask you a question with an obvious answer... would you rather the company put 10 people under you and you get $64 minus your membership fee of $55.95 so a net profit of $8.05 OR would you rather qualify for the Bronze bonus pool through BMC's or PS members and even just the BRONZE pool alone would be a healthy $900+++++ The point is, once this gets going, the majority will be NOT QUALIFIED for the BRONZE pool for a while, so get in ASAP!!! Once we start to grow the numbers get ridiculously good. So forget about focusing on your little tree to make money and focus on getting a share of the growth in THE BIG TREE whether you choose to be patient and passive, or active and well compensated. As you can see from this speculative example, making over $1336 a month in BT in a few years time is a VERY REALISTIC Possibility for those who make the investment - whether it is through waiting and participating in the double credit program, or going beyond that and buying members, or bringing in new members on your own. That's my 2 cents from the alley... |
