As a reminder, we have changed a couple of the rules:
1- ONLY ONE CLUE /DAY! This is an original Quiz rule. This makes it more equitable for people in all time zones.
If quiz participants object to this rule, and prefer random clues until the quiz is complete, please feel free to post in this thread.
2 - Taking effect last week, if admin or Mods win the Quiz, the $5 prize is rolled to the next quiz and will continue to grow until a forum member wins. Since I won last week http://www.clicksmilies.com/s0105/m...-smiley-064.gif this week's Quiz has a $10 prize. http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/8399/thumbsup4kk.gif

Clue # 1.
I am one of six.

Posted by: jojomataketa

Six degrees of separation refers to the idea that, if a person is one "step" away from each person he or she knows and two "steps" away from each person who is known by one of the people he or she knows, then everyone is no more than six "steps" away from each person on Earth. Several studies, such as Milgram's small world experiment, have been conducted to empirically measure this connectedness. While the exact number of links between people differs depending on the population measured, it is generally found to be relatively small. Hence, six degrees of separation is somewhat synonymous with the idea of the "small world" phenomenon.

Very funny F1, not the right answer, but you knew this. Sorry John, not a sextuplet either.

Clue #2: When I was first discovered, there was no known use for me.

lol, I think I`ve been misunderstood.

I earlier read a report that currently out of all laptops sold in the US 1 out of every 6 sold is manufactured by Apple.

Well, based on your facts F1, that would have been a good guess.

I don't know how you figured this one out so quickly, but Jojo, you have the correct answer. Congratulations, now for next weeks quiz, the prize will be $15 for a lucky participant who is not a MOD or admin at Web-life.

Jojo, why don't you post what how you deduced this answer and what is so fascinating about Neon?
