Well, we can be proud of the fact that we were runners up in the forum poll of forums in the category, to Private HYIPs. It was great even to be nominated.

The only people who could fake any polls are the admins. One of the admins is Phil, who I`ve know for a number of years, and I am also showing as an admin, though my duties are much reduced now because of commitments elsewhere.

What I would say is that neither Phil nor I have any possible reason to `fix` any votes. If I wanted to fake any votes I can assure you that WL would have come first in the poll, not 2nd to Private HYIPs. I would have also made it so that golddust would have been top of the poll for the moderators who were nominated.

Nothing has been faked at all, I know I didn`t, and I`m confident Phil didn`t either.

Geoff, I was just speaking about the poll MOTY not others.
I used to trust in Phils honesty too but after some events not anymore, I can not say why as it is a private thing. I know that you have known me just for a few months and if I say that I have been always honest, you will not fully trust me as it is just a few words posted on the internet. That is really strange that I got 19 votes and golddust only 2 votes, one day I was in 2nd with about 10 votes and the following day 1th with 19 votes, this happened just before closing the voting, the number of views "Nina at WL nomination" thread was still around 40 views. Many members here know me as "nunulka", just a few persons knew my real name. Also golddust is much more active moderator than me (I made just a few short posts weekly), especially in that time before my resignation when I was an ED mod/later admin. I donīt even understand why Phil nominated me as he had known me just for about 1 1/2 month that time, it was because I bacame a mod for his forum?
Even if it was real clear truth that Phil did not fake the poll (in the admin panel or asked someone to vote for me or he registered under multiple usernames and then voted or altern. method), I did not deserve the award as here are much more better moderators than me, especially golddust, thanks to her I became a WL mod.
Maybe some of you think that Iīm naive (I really was in some cases), panaroid or something else but I can say that I have been always honest and a few close persons who really know me in the offline life would say the same. Iīm just poor Czech girl trying to make some extra money on the internet as in my offline life I need to work hard every working day to be able pay food, rents...etc (maybe many of you are in the same situation just like me) as you may know that the situation here in CZ is not good and will be worse after new year. I just wanted to say a little about myself and now it is up to you all if you trust me or not.
I am thanking to everyone who really voted for me but I can not accept the award. Now Iīm going to resign as a WL mod and leave the Hyip world, the world full of scammers and dishonest people.

I am bit(quite) uninformed about these awards, but do they really mean so much? As far as I know there is no cash prize there. I mean, If I was at your place I wouldn't care, Nina. Of course if you want to leave the hyip world (not so bad decision in general) and resign at WL, it's your choice. But doing it because of this poll looks like some very emotional act.
I don't see who and why would fake the vote, but even if it was faked, all I can say is "big deal". There are much more important things in life than some awards forum with a hundred members total.
Just my €0.02 (because $ does not matter anymore).

Who knows the real reason why people sometimes vote as they do in a poll? On occasions people will vote not for a nominee, but against another individual who they don`t want to win. It could be the case that votes were cast for nunulka by members intent on stopping another person from winning, for whatever reasons they may have had. If something like that has happened it`s got nothing to do with the admin, members are free to vote any way they choose.

I`m not saying this is the case in this situation, but I am saying that jumping to conclusions like the admin has rigged the vote is dangerous. I`m not going to go in to the reasons again why none of the admins would have faked the poll to favour nunulka, other than to say this whole thing has been blown out of all proportion. We`re hardly voting for the next President of the US are we?

I am very sorry to learn about all this speculation, so I am reluctant to mention that I agree with Geoff in his 'version'. Who knows? Nina even if you refuse the award, I don't believe it will go to anyone else. Your feelings encompass much more than a reaction to this IFA award. IMO, you need to take a little breathing room. You are a good person and MOD and I wish you the best.
I hope you will post here if you find another way to earn extra money that does not involve HYIPs. I'm sure it would be of interest.

Welcome to Web-Life. It's very kind of you to say; I hope nunulka will read it; she is no longer a Mod here though. The Poll was not faked, IMO she was just very surprised to have won.
