Who Uses Squidoo?

This topic isn`t exactly about making money with a website, but it is related to the idea of doing just that.

It seems that Squidoo is becoming very popular with just about anyone who wants some sort of online presence.

Does anyone here use Squidoo at all, and if so what are your thoughts about it?

I still can't get used to all these social networking/bookmarking sites. Am I getting too old? Lol

I know what you mean clifton. I think you have to be under twenty five to stand a chance in today`s technological world.

I fear I can only manage to hang on to a few coat tails.

I know it's supposed to be useful to participate in such sites, especially if you want to promote your own projects. But hey, there is only so much time in the day - when to do all this?

Well, I took the plunge and had a go at my own `creation` on Squidoo.

I suppose I just like messing around and trying things out, even though I`m certainly not the most gifted, technically. It`s amazing though how I soon got into the HTML code additions etc which I would have been completely lost at once upon a time.

Hmm, I`m quite pleased. With doing regular updates to the lens it now stands at a reasonable level, though I want it to climb even higher-

I just thought I`d take a visit to a Squidoo lens I started some months ago, and lo and behold the recent Google PR updates have put it at a PR3 (from PR0). I haven`t done any work on it for several weeks, but I do link back to it from a couple of my other sites.

When I first started my lens I spent time on it every day and got quite high up the Squidoo rankings, though it`s dropped down obviously because of my recent inactivity there.

Finally, my lens is in the TOP 10 in its category (currently it`s #9). Now, keeping it there will be the hard part.
