Dear traders,


WFXAdvisor signals brings to its subscribers +130 pips last week with 3 winning trades !
Monthly performance for February is +305 pips, with not a single losing trade since month started !


Tuesday, February 12th, OrderBook is sent at 12 GMT (scheduled delivery) , and 6 orders have to be placed in the trading platform.

- The same day at 16 GMT, EUR/USD Sell order at 1.4595 is triggered. Price topped at 20 pips above entry point, and started to reverse. The next morning, our trade is profitable but we have doubts about a possible EURO downmove, 2nd OrderBook of the week is sent, we advised our subscribers to close this trade with a small +10 pips profit. Finnally, the market reverse again.. There was a +60 pips profit potential on that one, but the first goal of WFXAdvisor is to avoid losses.. better a small gain than a loss !

- Wednesday, at 16GMT, a EUR/USD Buy order from Tuesday OrderBook is triggered. Price rebound 20 pips below our entry point, reverses few hours after, and hit out TP point Thusday morning for a +70 pips profit.

- Thusday at 12GMT, OrderBook is sent with a EUR/USD Buy Order at 1.4585. Triggered around 15 GMT, price strongly reverse to the upside after bottoming 10 pips below our entry point. At the end of the afternoon, the price is near our TP point but EURO is facing strong selling pressures just below our TP. We sent a Flash Update at 17 GMT and advise our subscribers to close this position at market to avoid any risk. We took +50 pips on that trade. Orginal TP at 1.4670 has finally been hit Friday morning.. there was a +85 pips profit potential on that trade, but as you know, WFXAdvisor remain cautious as equity protection always prevail from profit potential.

Hi there

Finexo Comments on Various Currency Pairs

The massive sell-off in equities found the usual suspects on the prowl, with the JPY especially strong as one would expect. This time, the Swiss Franc finally decided to join the hunt, seemingly having gotten over some of the recent concerns about the country's banking system. It makes sense to us to see EURCHF lower and the pair has now dropped back below the 55-day moving average and is poking at an interesting rising trendline this morning.

The RBA cut by a larger than expected 100 bps overnight, but the market didn't especially punish the Aussie for this, though it was trading on its back foot again as the Asian session was drawing to a close. The Retail Sales was extraordinarily shocking in our view, registering 0.7% growth month-on-month level despite the entire financial world going down in flames that month. We can only scratch our heads at this data and say wait and see rather than finding any temptation to take this as a good sign. The AUDUSD chart seems better supported than for many other USD crosses, and the pair needs to work its way back below 0.6250 to set up a full test lower.

CAD remains bizarrely resilient in this environment. A complete collapse in crude oil prices over the weekend after a toothless performance from OPEC, clear signs of all major economies collapsing, and equity markets performing a nosedive yesterday failed to give USDCAD much of a boost. We're not sure what is cooking in loonie-land, but USDCAD looks amazingly mispriced right here. We're surprised it's not trading up closer to 1.3000. Perhaps there is some selling interest at the symbolic 1.2500 level in USDCAD or EUR/CAD crosses had come into vogue recently unbeknownst to us and got squeezed yesterday - in any case, keep an eye on that one.

The economic releases yesterday were abysmal - the New Orders component of the US ISM Manufacturing was a jaw-dropping 27.9 (only the two oil crises in the 1970's saw brief spikes to worse levels than this) and order backlog was at 27.0. Prices paid was at 25! This was 7 points lower than the previous record stretching all the way back to the 1960's. One can see why deflation is a hot topic these days. The EuroZone Manufacturing PMIs were also adjusted lower and the UK PMI was terrible. That PMI and other weak data punished the pound for heavy losses as the market may fear a 100 bp slice to the BOE rate on Thursday, considering what happened to the pound the last time around.

Let's see if the market is going to try to hold within the ranges ahead of Thursday and Friday's main events (central bank meetings, US-China talks, and then US employment report) or if it can contain itself in the ranges. We prefer the USD and JPY stronger, with CHF also on the strong side now.
