Do Google Searchboxes `pay`

As part of Google Adsense, webmasters can place a Google Searchbox on their site (maybe more than one is allowed, not sure).
Has anyone here tried it, is it worthwhile, is there a decent revenue from it?
Personally I know that whenever I search for something I have the habit of going for the toolbar searchbox, thus any searchbox on the site tends to get ignored.

I never tried. Like you said, I don't expect any of my site visitors would use it
