This is true story happened today....

just had 2 unexpected visitors at my front door....LOL...any visitors without a car is rare cos it's a looooong steeeep climb up to our house....

Was 2 men in early 20's, with strong USA accents wearing black pants, white shirt with a big black name-tag clipped to the pocket

Here is how the short conversation went

him:"hello, do you live here??"

me(still sitting at my desk cos door was wide open) :"no I just broke in to use the PC!!"

him:"we just come to share an important message about ...bla...bla...bla..."

me:"Mate why don't you take a closer look at the door post you leaning on,...show some respect...enjoy the view for a bit and have a nice day"

him(looking up whilst his jaw hit the ground);"um, oh, er sorry to disturb you...bye"

Strange blokes...They never bothered to enjoy the view like I invited them to... they quick stepped it to the drive and bailed

lol, nice that you can sit with your door open. Right now it`s about 2 degrees celcius over here, (below freezing overnight), so my door stays firmly shut unless it`s to let someone in or out.

My door is always open cos we get many creatures visiting both big and small and on 2 legs or 4 although the 2 legged variaty are not as common as the 4...
I do however much prefer the 4 legged variaties as they are far more loyal and trustworthy....But we feed all who are in need

Got about a 40feet flat area in front of the house then there is a drop but with trees and a great view...
Few moths back we started to drop food scraps like potatoe peals, old fruit etc over the edge...Have seen at least 5 different goannas in that area this year...The morning roo count is rising so word is spreading...free food at my house!!
