W32.Witty.Worm

A quickly spreading Internet worm destroyed or damaged tens of thousands of personal computers worldwide Saturday morning by exploiting a security flaw in a firewall program designed to protect PCs from online threats, computer experts said. The "Witty" worm writes random data onto the hard drives of computers equipped with the Black Ice and Real Secure Internet firewall products, causing the drives to fail and making it impossible to restart the PCs. Unlike many recent worms that arrive as e-mail attachments, it spreads automatically to vulnerable computers without any action on the part of the user.

W32.Witty.Worm utilizes a Vulnerability in ICQ Parsing by ISS Products. The worm sends itself out to multiple IP addresses on source port 4000/UDP and a random destination port. The worm is a memory-only based threat and does not create files on the system.

The worm has a payload of overwriting random sectors of a random hard disk.

NOTE: If your system is not running a vulnerable version of one of the products affected, then you will not be infected. Products affected by this vulnerability are listed below:

Some are saying this is having a financial problem because the rate has dropped but they are still paying just like on Comshares but the doom and gloom merchants think that because they are not performing at an acceptible level all the time they are in trouble but this is the norm for market trends if they want security I suggest they go to a bank.



The Wind of Change

We have all seen the drastic downturn in the HYIP arena in recent months with the disastrous loss of Nova Lights and then Mario's Weekly Gold and his SP1 being tied up with too much of the funds causing him to basically disappear into the dark zone anyone remember that saying lol) yes our little lost Patryn seems to has gone very quiet as well after the Gold Commerce demise I could go on there are many more that joined the same demise.

It is always, the dissection of each and everyone of the failed programs, that surprise me.Everyone is looking for a reason, but if we think about it ,we already know, what that reason was. It was, a lack of funding ,to allow it to carry on the Ponzi effect. This is the reality, but in our cloud of euphoria of making the big buck we are always expecting to achieve this same level everyday, day in, day out.

But this to me is an impossibility I think that unless a program has a variance in their percentage on a daily basis I cannot see how they are trading. I do not think there is one business, that can say that they are making enough profit daily, to promise the same exact percentage everyday, to me it is just not possible.

I think that we are slowly growing away from the High percentage programs!! Oh sure there will be always some around but they are becoming very far and few between The change is in the air and with it will bring us a lot more longer lasting type of so called lower paying investments.

I think that Forex is the way of the future with the new wave of HYIP, but even this will cause turbulence in the rateable value being returned. There are so many people write about the availability of talented traders around. But all you really find in the HYIP arena are people learning and honing their skills on our money.

This is where the problem lies I think and needs to be addressed in the correct fashion, maybe this can be applied through the new Advisory Board that is now being formulated. I am sure this could be a good testing level. Which is needed to reach out to the investors that are looking for a more secure future in the HYIP arena. I don't know? I am just thinking out loud over to you caper ??
