I see that in the TG Forum there`s a group that`s set itself up as the Anti-Scam Online Team.
Basically it`s goal is simple- to put an end by various methods, including carrying out DOS attacks, to all known scams.
Now I applaud anyone who wants to put an end to scams, but as some have suggested, it does raise a number of questions. :-k
What level of proof is necessary before it is defined as a scam?
What happens to a program that`s still paying out ok, yet the credentials it has supplied are found to be lies?
Where does the person who has very recently joined then stand when the program goes down? Is it fair to him?
To me it`s a virtual impossibility to close all the scams down in time to stop people losing money.
I always compare scams to weeds. Get rid of them and before too long they reappear elsewhere in the garden.

Yes they are trying to beat the drum for the HYIP scene, but they are in reality beating there heads against a brickwall.
I have watched this arena now for a very long time and I mean as long as the internet has been around commercially.
And to date we have had all the heroes trying to do this and I can assure you they will not succeed.
And if they take the law into their own hands they will find that they will be in more trouble than the the scammers, as this little 18 year old that they have caught will be finding out very soon .
Also there is hardly a honest program around in this HYIP arena 99% of them are scams or ponzi'sit doesnt really matter which because they both eventually have the same outcome.
This is why most programs in this arena normally dont last and the better managed seem to last around 9 months to a year.
After this period of time the money is starting to get stretched too far because of the withdrawals and lack of investment to keep the ponzi going .
But I always applaud them for trying and I suppose if they try and do it legally then I have no complaint .

According to what I have read elsewhere the Anti-Scam team has now decided to set it`s sights on a couple more HYIP`s, one of which is http://vteam.net
Now I don`t know about you, but this is a program that not only am I with, have always paid out on time, but I have NEVER read anything negative about. :-k
It seems that either these self-proclaimed saviours have either failed to do their homework, or they are simply targetting anything and anyone who they take a dislike to. :-({|=
In a word- MORONS!
