PDSA’s mission is to care for the animals of needy people by providing free veterinary care to their sick and injured pets and by promoting responsible pet ownership. This we achieve by treating some 4,500 animals every working day.
PDSA was founded in 1917 by Maria ****in, (Phil I can't help it if here name's D i c k ing )an animal welfare pioneer, whose values are still upheld by PDSA today. PDSA relies entirely upon public support to maintain its services and without the generosity of pet lovers could not continue its work.
