Poor TV Programs During Summer

How can you tell it`s summer here in the UK? Because the programs on television are mostly rubbish. A lot of repeats, for one thing. Why spend money when there`s not too many viewers around to watch them? It`s a shame they don`t cut our licence fee for 3 months in the year, because we`re not getting value for money.

It`s always the same here, poor summer programming, then when autumn arrives they schedule the better quality ones.

Is it just here, or does this happen where you live?

Thankfully we have Free To Air Television here in Australia (although I am a Foxtel Satelite Subscriber) If I had to pay for the content of the commercial stations....welll......I just wouldn't bother !!!

I agree with Rixzta the television programs in Australia are absolutely disgusting but there is the added bonus of not paying a license fee .

When I was in the UK it was always the same in the summer nothing of any quality was ever shown and as you re-entered into winter the quality got better .

Then at Christmas time everyone was fighting for the top audience figures and then there is so much on you miss half of it.

I even don't rate the Austar for the price as I was spoiled by Sky TV when I was in the UK..

When I departed from dear old blighty we had Sky Digital which is just arriving here now.

But you know what they say the grass always looks greener on the other side.)
