Its beginning to sound like the NL saga, money frozen and now DDoS attacks

probably know when something like this happens it is very hard

to clear.

The plot thickens...

Yes it certainly does Jeff

This is a very interesting post by Brianlai over at TG

Quote:
The EVOCash website could not be reached via a regular internet connection.

However, the EVOCash website can be loaded just fine and dandy through a VPN connection via Metropipe tunnels.

What does this mean? It means that Evocash has selectively barred access to their site from all public IPs, thus creating an illusion of being DDOS'ed. And X-changers is in bed with them, bunch of propaganda liars.

Only Metropipe users (majority of which are also FLO members) can access the Evocash site, this act is presumably for them to snare and mark down even more accts for their opportunistic seizing.

All the above are facts. Live with it.

I've heard the same thing from several people. FULL access to Evocash was apparently available through Metropipe, possibly other 'anonymizers', while people like me (who don't use tunnels), were not getting in. I noticed that I CAN get in now.
And, I'm not aware of all of the tech details on web access setup, so many things are possible, but I did find it interesting.

Hi Wendy, yes I did, (see Admin`s original post in this thread).

I have read in other places that Evocash is now back up running.

Silly me - Its right up there. Sorry for that Geoff. I have now tried the website and it is accessible.

I got right on to EVO, first thing I checked today. Now of course, the rumors are flying that programs accepting EVO may subsequently fail if the DDOS attacks continue.

Yes, it's certainly too familiar with NL circumstances . . .
