FLO is Dead (Realize it!)

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

People need to realize that this program is dead. It really sickens to see all the money people lost in that program. If you read the GH forum you will see how positive people are about this program. Most of those people are probably newbies in HYIPs and don't have the experience of programs closing like most of us do.

Oh, right. I only lost in SharedProfit, WCG, NL ... and too many other penny-ante programs to list here.

I've gone over some figures of G-H's increase in registered membership since the opening of the FLO folder, and a rough estimate based on estimates I've seen in various forums about total FLO membership tells me that roughly 1/3 to 1/2 of total FLO members are registered on the Gold-Horizons forum . Of that figure, approximately 4,000, I am willing to bet that less than 10 percent actually post.

While I don't disagree with you, Edward, that inexperience brings with it naievete, I think there is a fairly good number of experienced investors who are in FLO who also post, both pro and con. We're seeing more of them post daily, of course.

I'm looking forward to hopefully a lessening in the number of posts, because I think just about everything has been said that could possibly be said!! (Wait. I know I'm just BEGGING for a new angle, with that! LOL)

I liked the suggestion that we all just stand down for three months or so.

Posted by: forwardone

A moratorium on posting about FLO for 3 months. FLO folders all over the place falling silent for a few months. Arguing, mudslinging, name calling, abuse, tears..... all gone!

Respect for one another, peace, harmony.....

Geoff, wake up now, you`re having a dream.

I guess that someday though one way or the other the above scenario has to be the case.

Geoff maybe dreams do come true.
Rumor on TG that the FLO fanatics now have a secret private forum.

Posted by: wendy99

It's no longer a rumor. I confirm that it exists. Unfortunately I don't know where it is located, but I am positive of its existance.

Wendy, can you go on the inside for us, go undercover, become a FLOer, put on a wig, start a FLO chant, sing a FLO song and get us that URL

Posted by: forwardone

And guaranteed to get you in would be the quoting of a few Scriptures.

I'll do my best. http://web-life.org/vb/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

I thought Wendy is in FLO.

Yeah, the religious bent has always bothered me too. The right-wingers get really heavy when they start!

Yet the posts keep on piling up at GH where FLO has a folder, and in other places. Can any more be said that`s actually fresh and new, not a rehash of what`s gone before? It`s virtually a case of one side trying to persuade the other that they are right. It just seems such a pointless waste of time.

In which case why don`t FLOites keep to that forum where they`ll encounter far less resistance than in other forums.

Geoff

It could be coincidence but it seems to me that the number of FLO posts over at GH are reducing. And of those that are posting many are new members.

Maybe FLO does have a `secret` location for it`s true followers? If so they are doing a good job of keeping their `Private Forum` private.

Geoff

The existence of a secret forum only for some but not all investors would be absolute proof that it is a scam in it's dying days.

I did see a few new buzzards coming in for entrails this afternoon. LOL

Well, I can only speak for myself in G-H these past few months, and (I think) for a few people that I consider very close friends who are in FLO. We're "posted out." I know I am, trying to help moderate the place. I can't believe I'm even posting this. LOL I've started a few lately and just said, "Oh, what the heck!" and deleted them.

It kind of goes back to what we were discussing before, Geoff, there's been nothing said that hasn't been said already. Do we think that all new members who were brought into G-H as a result of FLO even post??

My theory is Gold-Horizons, probably more so than ever, is like Talk Gold and other big forums: a great deal of people people read only; a few people post a lot; many people post moderately; some people seldom make a post.

But I think if there's a "conspiracy" of FLO members, it's what you've seen some post at G-H about not wanting to not trade jabs and insults any longer.

I'm going to chill out this weekend, myself. Yay, Friday!!!

Maybe if some of us more frequent posters will give other people some room, they'll start posting and sharing their opinions and ideas, too. Unique idea, huh?

Nice thought, Terri, but I can`t see it happening, can you?

I think that forums are often a reflection of real life. Those who like to have a say and feel as though they are contributing, and others who`ll sit by and let them. You`ve analysed it pretty accurately in your post I`d say, Terri.

Well, for whatever reason the posts have died down a little, let`s be grateful for small mercies, and enjoy your `chill` over the weekend.

I wouldnt even consider the possibility of a secret or private chatroom / Forum for one simple reason .

It woud cause more conflict than their is now through the unwanted not being able to find out about their "cough" Investment.
And could enhance the search for there little tin god called the xman and their lost funds through this facade.
Which I am sure the X man would be telling them that it is providing too great a challenge.)

Posted by: forwardone

Well the secret forum is no longer a secret. By now many will know that the details are in the public arena (no need for Wendy to go undercover).

Now that the new FLO forum has been set up, it`s been decided to close the Chatroom down.

Quote:
After careful consideration, the admin and staff have made the decision that the time has come to close the chat room. While it has provided a wonderful meeting place and educational resource, it is no longer necessary to keep it open.

Please join the new forum that has been created for us to come together and to provide updates until such time the Private Program takes over.

We will be throwing our a Bon Voyage party on Monday November 29, beginning at 2 pm CST, 3 pm EST, 12 pm PST, 1 pm MST, 8 pm GMT.
Join us to laugh, party, dance and shed a few tears.

Posted at GH today by Debra, and now the FLO folder at GH is a `read only` for updates.

Please visit us there FLO members. Thanks, Gold Horizons for all that you have done for FLO Members http://gold-horizons.com/forum/imag.../icon_smile.gif. Time for us to move to our new home.

I'm gonna give that a big, "Amen!"

In case any FLO members haven`t yet located the FLO forum, it`s now at

http://www.forumforfree.com/forums/...rum=freelanders

But, it`s currently unobtainable due to a fault.

while everyone wanted flo to continue, it is difficult for me to feel sorry for anyone who lost money in flo except perhaps the very late entries, and they probably had ample red flags, warnings due to changes in withdrawals alone, so as to hold off with any new "spends".

anyone else with any degree of basic common sense strategy needed only a minimum of 10 to a maximum of 28 days for a total return of their initial hard monies...and then IF they proceeded to "compound" (knowing that compounding is not their money at all, until withdrawn) with only a portion of profits (part of any successful strategy), always remembering to pay themselves first in the process (a part of any successful strategy) which is what it is all about, there was no risk of hard cash, no loss to whine about. That is true of any online program today. The program is merely a Vehicle to one degree or another.

flo was a very easy one to proceed at no risk, and make a lot of money in the process in that environment of safety...to admit otherwise, merely admits the lack of not only a strategy but any common sense.

an online program should be a Vehicle to be chosen for only short-term income/gains (remembering that compounded money is NOT your money ever, until withdrawn & that there is really no bona-fide history or experience of long-term online programs); to be used as IT is structured. Some programs are structured in such a way they make no sense for any strategy; others such as flo was a very easy one for all to proceed at no risk. You knew it in 10 to 28 days; you had it done in 10 to 28 days; you should have been ahead in 10 to 28 days; you could have started out at your own "comfort zone" spend risk level for 10 to 28 days, etc.

to admit otherwise is a warning for "readers" of those posters to ignore what they have to say as they aren't the ones to provide sensible suggestions or recommendations for your successful online financial future having only expertise in losing money. they are the constant professional whiners of the forums. They are Great Pretenders...not great performers. You can see their losing posts of the past with any review...loss after loss in losing program after losing program - losing while others are winning, and they want others to read, listen, hear? hogwash. they are in a constant state of denial, will never learn, are tempted with "greed" in making a quick buck, and "fear" in losing out where others succeed when they can't. some can, some can't; some have, some haven't; and right now some are doing, some .....(are posting their failures(?))

Gotta feel sorry for those desperately seeking refunds when it`s been said that they will be made only just prior to the PP being rolled out.

Seems to defeat the object to a certain extent. And now that there`s no Debra serving as Ass`t Admin who`s going to take care of those requests?

I see the forum now has a new folder entitled `Hard Rant Cafe` and although they say otherwise, I do wonder whether it`s an attempt to keep the doubters confined to one area.
