FLO In Middle Of GH and TG Members War of Words

For the past few months opinions are becoming entrenched both at the GH forum and Talkgold over the FLO situation. The question I have is this! If HYIP`s border on being legal, what`s an FBI guy doing getting involved in such programs? His other posts clearly show that he is a member of FLO.

I dont think that he works for the FBI, he mentioned that he lives in the FBI area of Denver - not sure but thats how I read it

But I do agree that the FLO folder (not the entire GH forum) is very heavily censored and has become very one sided in terms of FLO

Personally, I like the way that GH was b4, it was a refreshing place to visit with some interesting opinions

I must admit that I wasn`t too sure the way it was phrased whether he does or doesn`t actually work for the FBI. This is the response from Rixzta which indicates that he thinks he does.

At the moment there hasn`t been a reply by this `Pat` which will perhaps clarify things. And of course there`s no saying whether the writer is being truthful even if he does claim to work for them.

Hopefully GH still is and will be a refreshing place to visit with some interesting opinions..

About a week ago we gave FLO an archive folder where their mods can move post that they think do not belong to to their main folder. The goal was that FLO mods would not delete any posts anymore and i think it has been a moderate success.

I have noticed that we receive more and more visitors who only wants to get banned from GH just to go back to Talkgold to brag about it. In my opinion both sides have been heard inside FLO folder. Debrainsa even gave own thread for "negative" posters. Still some feel the need to go from thread to thread repeating their insults and demands.

I think she has done good job trying to keep the discussion in the boundaries of GH rules. Because there's so much emotions involved she has done everything to keep two sides separated to avoid the situations (personal attacks) where GH rules would be breached. We have and will ban people from both sides if they breach the most important rules we have. We demand that each member in GH forum must have respect for fellow members. Things could (and must in GH) be discussed in civil way, but as my surprise many find it impossible if someone else does not agree with their opinions (this usually only happens in FLO folder).

I find it very strange that there seems to be so much to debate about FLO. Everything that there is to say has been said many times weeks ago. FLO does not accept new spends at the moment so i see very litle to accomplish by the ones that spend huge amounts of time to bring over the believers to the other side. What's the point?

GH was a much `friendlier` place to be before FLO, that`s for sure. And I suppose for those who just visit and never go into the FLO folder not too much has changed, although some don`t always follow the rules about what and where to post outside of FLO.

I`m not too surprised that tempers are frayed though when I read about figures of $80K and even $100K being poured into the program. I haven`t got that kind of money but why on earth do people do what I would would call stupid things like that? Some really do have, as the saying goes, more money than sense.

And more greed than sense, too, Geoff! I don't have that kind of money to invest, either, but if I did, I'd diversify it like you suggest, and I'd most likely do it with the thought of getting it into a safe investment and most probably offline.

I think Debra's doing a fine job under the circumstances. How many hyip admins do you see who allow the constant thrashing that some would give her and the mods?? We have to remember that that folder is tantamount to their own forum within the G-H forum and boundaries.

It's not like people are banned for disagreement. Too many people seem to forget that it's not so much what you say in life that matters sometimes, it's HOW you say it.

And yeah, I don't think the guy/gal is in the F.B.I. I think he just lives in the area. If he WERE in the F.B.I., he'd have no need to solicit folks to file a case, he'd just OPEN a case and announce it.

I think the majority of the pro-FLOers have now moved on to the new FLO forum, which has made it a little less contentious over at GH.

Many of those posting are now, let`s say, of the more sceptical persuasion, which isn`t too surprising as most of them wouldn`t last long in the new FLO forum.
