The Basic Instinct star claimed Renato Calabria told reporters about a new technique - and suggested he had used it on her. But Calabria said the 46-year-old actress had misinterpreted what he actually said. His lawyer said: "All he has ever done is discuss vertical face surgery, a technique he innovated, and magazine articles have speculated that Stone had the procedure." US Weekly printed an article in August with the headline: "Did Sharon Stone Have Surgery?" In Touch magazine had a similar piece quoting Calabria, although he refused to comment on Stone in the article. Sharon's legal papers said: "Stone has never undergone a facelift in order to improve her physical appearance.
