I - HYIP NEWS/NOTICES UPDATE

* Pips continues to have major issues concerning withdrawals. Bryan has not

given an update in over a month via the forum, and the program is seemingly in limbo. Hold off on new spends until current withdrawals speed up. THere are a few forums where members can discuss PIPs in an open free environment:

http://www.talkgold.com/forum/index.php?showforum=130

http://www.web-life.org/vb/f46-High%20Yield%20Investment%20Programs.html

* Intellekt-Kapital is reportedly having some problems. Withdrawl requests are not being filled, and emails to the admin are being returned. There have been rumors that the German police are investigating the program. It's recommended to stay away from this program for the time being.

* There have been some major DDOS attacks on the Spirit International servers. Programs that we know that have been effected by these attacks include: almagold.com, fexa.net, bestinvfund.com, super-invest.com, and goldinv.com.

* Gold-exchange.net is a scam. Do not try and exchange your currencies with
them, as there have been numerous scam warnings.

* There has been a lot of rumblings about EuroCash (ec2004.com), but as far as we know this program is still paying on time.

* Income Line has closed, and admin says that he will make some sort of refund to investors. If history means anything, then there will not be any refunds made.

* Golden Nestegg apparently had problems with their domain name, as it expired and the automatic renewal feature did not work properly. Currently if the site is down, you should be able to access it via their IP. More info can be found at their forum on talkgold.com:
http://www.talkgold.com/forum/index.php?showforum=125

* WeeklyInterest is confirmed gone for good. This program lasted quite a
while, but the admin seems to have closed it down. We are unsure if refunds
will occur.

* Income Line, a program which launched back in September has closed down. There is a message on the site that partial refunds will take place.

* Forex Heat, a program that only started 3 weeks ago, is already reported as not paying. It seems as though the admin gave up on this one after running with some extra cash.

* VBank Tech has also been reported as not paying. They launched only 10 days ago, but have yet to pay out any funds. Looks like this was a pure scam from the very start.

* Other programs that have closed or stopped paying are; 20 Minute Invest,
Profitablefuture.net, Golden Xmas, Space Invest, HYIPclub, 70x3days, and
Higherpercent, Hopax Corp, and 4plangoldmoney.

II - SOME HELPFUL TIPS WHEN INVESTING INTO A KNOWN PONZI

(Warning, knowingly investing into ponzi's are illegal in many jurisdictions.)

#1 - If the crowd is behind a program, it's usually too late to get in. By the
time there is a cult following of a program, it is usually hanging on to it's
last thread. Once a program peaks in terms of new Spends, the scamming admin will usually take off with as much money as possible. We have seen this happen time and time again. The earlier you get in the better chance you have at coming away a winner

#2 - Compounding is a "no-no." It is put into place only to make the ponzi last
longer and allow the admin to seemingly be paying interest when he/she in fact is not paying anything out. Remember, it's all just numbers on your screen until you have cash in hand.

#3 - Large referral commissions are usually a sign of a fast fly-by-night
program. Admins offer such high returns in order to get the public to quickly
promote the program to the masses.

#4 - Any program that opens up their own e-currency should be examined very carefully. In many cases, this creates a sense of trust among members, however it should in reality signal the exact oppisite. By creating their own
ecurrency, admins are able to basically "print their own money." They can pay out into these accounts as much as they like, and do not have to actually give cash to anyone. This is a strategy used by many of the larger programs in order to gain trust and allow the ponzi to last up to 300% longer then it normally would.

#5 - Don't allow licenses or registration documents take over your mind. It is
quite easy, even in the US to register a business no matter what the business does. For $300 you can get an LLC in the US and become a registered company. This means nothing, and are even more worthless in other offshore countries. Don't be fulled. These program often last just as long as any other. These rules do not all apply if the HYIP is actually investing members funds into financial areas.

IV - BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK ADVERTISING:

We have had many people email us asking where they should advertise their HYIP in order to get the most exposure, and credibility. Well, we have 3 favorites, and reasons why we think they are probably the best place to advertise your site at:

#1 - http://www.Gold-hosting.com - probably one of the most trusted and reliable sites out there. They use various inside information, including information that we provide, to rate listed HYIPs on a 10 star scale. They are very accurate. Having your site listed at Gold-hosting.com with a high rating gives it a credibility that is otherwise hard to obtain.

#2 - http://www.GoldRater.com - This new HYIP / Gold Game rating site is run by us. It allows members to advertise their programs for free, or at a premium level which charges $1/day. Also includes a banner rotation and static banners which are very effective.

#3 - http://www.Talkgold.com - (Over 105,000 hits per day) By far the most
active HYIP forum on the net. With about 3X's the amount of hits as other HYIP forums, Talkgold only charges about half the price of their competition for advertising.

#4 - http://www.Gamesofgold.com - (Over 25,000 hits per day) In the last month the traffic at Gamesofgold.com has dramatically increased. You can not beat their prices for their premium listings which will get your HYIP off the ground in no time. They also have a mailing list of 1000+ users that you can send a solo ad to for a very low price.

Hopefully this answers some of your questions.

III - Some Interesting Forum Discussions

I - HYIP NEWS/NOTICES UPDATE

* There has been a rumor that E-gold is having problems with the FBI, and thus
being investigated. It seems as though somebody is trying to spread this rumor
as rapidly as possible, as they are email spamming numerous individuals.
INTGold claims that they have an inside track on information that points towards
E-gold's demise,. We find it very fishy that INTGold, a direct competitor to
E-gold is the one spreading these rumors. These are only rumors, and unless you
see public information, a news article, or investigation details, I would blow
off this rumor. We have contacted E-Gold and they said that they have no idea
what we are talking about. Our advice is to simply ignore these rumors until
you see hard evidense to point towards such accusations.

* PIPs continues to have major issues. Bryan Marsden has not given an update
in over 6 weeks. Many people are complaining about not getting their
withdrawals. Pic-Pay, their own e-currency is becoming more and more valuless
as time goes by. Unless PIPs can quickly turn around and get it's act together,
the future of the program does not look all that bright. Here are some unbiased
pips forums:
http://www.talkgold.com/forum/index.php?showforum=130

http://www.web-life.org/vb/

* Several HYIPs have been experiencing major DDOS attacks this last week.
Astrasystems, and several others have finally stopped these attacks. We know
that the attacker had bribed Astrasystems for $1000 in order to stop the
attacks. Astrasystems did not pay this bribe.
-- If you are interested in protecting your site from DDOS attacks, please
contact us at: admin@hyipmailer.com and we will give you the contact info of a
reliable company that isn't too expensive.

* 5YearBond has also been down due to these DDOS attacts that have been going
on as of late. The should be coming back in the next couple days we would
imagine.

* Reality Gold has stopped paying. This program launched back in October and
paid a steady 0.7% per day. Looks like this one may have been a drawn out ponzi
scheme.

* Silvent Invest's site has been down the last few days. Looks like this
program may be gone for good. They launched only about 3 weeks ago.

* Fast Profits, a program that paid 20% per day and lasted only 2 weeks has
also stopped paying. This program was more like an E-gold game. Anyone should
know that a 20% per day return is not possible.

* Forex Kingdom is yet another program which stopped paying out. This program
had also very recently launched. Looks like the admin either gave up, or ran
off with a quick few hundred dollars.

* EuroCash 2004, a program which paid 10% per day and had advertised quite a
bit at various HYIP rating sites, has been down for the last 4-5 days. Looks
like they are either gone or under a DDOS attack.

* Other programs that have closed are: AlmaGold, Oriental Investment, Darby
Investments, Gold Machine, ASAP 190%, GoldenPay and OnlineGold.

-------------------------------------------------

II - GREED, OUR WORSE ENEMY

Many people earn large amounts of money in the HYIP arena. These people are the
ones with self control and a clear strategy for investing. These are the people
who realize that Greed is the worst enemy of an HYIP Investor.

Greed forces us to do many things:

- Compound earnings when we really shouldn't
Compounding is a tool for Ponzi admins to make their ponzi last longer. Don't
compound as you will then be playing into their hands.

- Invest into high paying program when we know they are a ponzi scheme that
probably won't last
Anything paying over 1-2% or so per day is most likely a partial ponzi. If you
get in early you can earn money, however it's a major gamble.

- Refer others into a program when we know they are a scam
There is nothing worse then a person who refers others into a program only so
they can earn from the referral. Make sure that if you introduce people to the
HYIP arena, that they know that it is filled with scams. Never tell anyone that
their investment will be guaranteed.

- Invest all our eggs into one basket when we should be at least diversifying a
bit
Often people find one good program, and invest all their money into it. Weeks
later it collapses and they lose all their money. We have seen this with
NovaLights, PIPs, and several other large programs. Just because a program is
popular does not mean it is legit. Yes 100,000 people can be wrong.

- Believe only the things we want to beleive. Money can play tricks with our
heads.

Don't allow your greed to potentially ruin your HYIP experience and lose money
for both yourself and others. Play it smart, and don't get in over your head.
Test out different strategies, and use the ones that work best for you.

If what we have been reading of late is true then there`s been a spate of DDoS attacks, but now it appears that most have died out.

Hopefully over the next week or two the program`s which were genuinely hit will have come through it to continue on paying out to members.

No doubt some will have fallen by the wayside.

I - HYIP NEWS/NOTICES UPDATE

* The E-gold rumors continue to pour in. We recommend that for the most part
they be ignored. It seems as though a select few people want E-gold to collapse
for their own benefit.

* PIPs members continue to hang onto the last bit of hope. It is quite
surprising that this many people are still believing in PIPs considering Bryan
has not made an appearance for over 45 days.

* A lawsuit against OsGold alledges that the online currency scammed more then
$250 million from it's users. Should be interesting to see how this plays out.

* http://www.weblife.org/vb/ has announced their $50 cash givaway. Once they
get their 2500th member they will randomly select one member using the New
Jersey Pick 6 lottery. This member will have $50 transfered to their egold
account.

* Postive fund has stopped paying out. This program started back in October
and had been reliable up until last week. Looks like they may be gone for good.

* GROI Club has stopped paying out after nearly two months of paying 0.5% per
day. Considering that the first investor would have only received 30% of their
investment back, this program looks and smells like a scam.

* MDForex has been having ddos problems for the last month. To use it looks
like they are gone for good.

* Super Invest has also stopped paying out. This program paid 130% per 7 days
thus making it a guaranteed ponzi scheme.

* other programs that have closed are: Alpine HYIP, and Gold Payment

II - RUMORS IN THE HYIP ARENA

Rumors run rampant in all industries and business arenas, however, in the HYIP
and online investing arena, they tend to pop up much more and often have greater
impacts then that of other business sectors. HYIPs are built on trust, thus
even the slightest rumor can cause panic and a "bank run".

"Bank runs" occured in the 1930's during the great depression, when rumors of
crashing markets and the actual decrease in stock values caused people to panic
and run to their bank to withdraw their cash. This caused the reserves in the
banks to get depleted and eventually they were not able to pay people trying to
withdraw their funds. This eventually caused more panic, and the cycle
continued, nearly collapsing the entire economic sector of the US.

HYIPs and e-currencies work in much the same way. If a person claims a program
or company is getting ready to run, people rush to withdraw their funds. This
then causes a shortage of liquid cash assets that the company has avalaible thus
creating delays in withdraws which cause more panic, until the company
eventually has to fold.

Many rumors may actually turn out to be facts, however a great deal of them are
started by people with their own agenda's. People who are in competition, or
have something to gain by igniting panic. Just be careful what you believe, and
don't allow the irrational thinking of the masses brainwash you into believing
irrational ideas.

I - HYIP NEWS/NOTICES UPDATE
* In the last week INTGold has announced major policy changes. In order for
members to withdraw or spent as much as they wish, they will need to provide
INTGold with a variety of personal records and information. We find it odd that
they have made these major changes which will limit peoples withdrawal of funds,
without any prior warning.

* PIPs members remain in limbo. Bryan is reportedly ill, and has not posted in
their forum for almost 2 months. Things seem a bit fishy. We recommend holding off on spending into PIPs until things are cleared up. Next Month there is a planned convention in Hawaii. It should be interesting to see if Bryan will
show up.

* AceInvest, after nearly 10 months of paying out on schedule, seems to have simply disappeared. There has been no word from the admin, and it looks as though this program may be gone for good.

* DXPrivate has stopped crediting accounts. Members can still log in, but do
not get updated earnings. Looks like this program may be gone.

* 3WeeksGold Has stopped it's program due to major DDOS attacks. Looks like
this program is gone for good.

* FX Trade Corp has stopped paying. There have been reports that this program
stopped paying everyone but the rating sites in order to keep new spends coming
in. This is the lowest form of low one can go. The program paid 9% daily and
started in mid December.

* DDOS attacks continue to hurt many programs. This has made it tough for us
to determine if programs are simply being attacked or if they are gone for good.
We are trying our best to figure them all out.

* Due to the huge number of PICPay exchange requests, Talkgold has made a
folder just for PICPay exchanges. Be warned that we feel PicPay is perhaps a
dead worthless currency. http://www.talkgold.com/forum/index.php?showforum=291

* Other Programs that have closed are: Eurofunds, Phenoix Trade, pcfdollars,
and Stable Invest.

II - LENGTH DOES NOT EQUAL LEGITIMACY

We often hear people saying the following:

"This program has been paying for almost one year. They have to be legit. If
they were a ponzi, they would have stopped paying months ago. Ponzi schemes can
not last more then a few months."

This is the furthest from the truth as one can get. Just because a program has
lasted a long time in no way makes it legit. The whole point in running a ponzi
scheme is for the admin to take in as much money as possible. Think of it as a
bell curve. When deposits hit it's peak, the admin will usually start planning
on how he/she will disappear. Any rational admin would want his/her program to
continue to grow at a steady rate for as long as possible. This builds trust
and increases new spends. The following are ways for a program to extend it's
longevity as a ponzi:

- Compounding options: If the admin can increase the amount of funds investors
compound, they can keep more funds in the system, thus allowing it to last much
longer. Stay away from compounding until you get your seed money back.

- Owning it's own E-currency: We don't see this often, however, it is usually a
good indication that the program is trying to keep funds in it's system. If
they own their own ecurrency then the funds just circulate over and over again,
not forcing them to pay out actual cash for an extended amount of time.

There have been numerous programs that have lasted over 6 months, and turn out
to be a scam. Whatever you do, don't use time as the only determining factor of
where to invest your funds.

* http://ww.talkgold.com/forum has finished its makeover of its site. There is
now a new look as well as many new folders. Some of the folders include
"Doublers & Cyclers", "Introduce Yourself", and more. If you haven't been to
Talkgold in a while you might want to check out what they have done. Supposedly
there are many features to be added in the near future.

* Wendy's weekly has officially closed. Surprising to us, Wendy has simply
disappeared. There are many rumors going around that Wendy was a well know
scammer in disguise. We don't want to say much more because rumors are rumors.

* HYIP Esay looks like they have stopped paying out. Members withdraw requests
are pending from the last two weeks, and there has been no word from the admin.

* No More Zero $'s has also stopped paying. Actually they never paid. This
was one of those programs that spend a bunch of money on advertising only to rip
everyone off.

* Star of 2005 is having some issues. We are not sure if the admin ran off, or
if they are just having website technical problems. The PIN on their site does
not function properly. Stay tuned on this one.

* http://www.hyipsearch.net is looking for a few people to add programs to
their database on a daily basis. There will be a small salary. If you are
interested, please contact weblifeorg@gmail.com

* HYIPMan is supposedly using the name of the Empire Pay bank, in order to
defraud people. Be aware of HYIPMan.

* Ministryofgold has recently changed their site policy. People who want to
rate programs must pay a $1 membership fee. This is to cut down on false
ratings. Hyipinvestment is also having false rating problems, and is considering
changes.

* Other Programs which closed are: Cashbuild.net, and Permacore.

II - THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE WEALTHER AND EVERYONE ELSE
By: Jim Young

I recently received an e-mail from a young lady who had doubts about the
principles of wealth found in "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". She mentioned a couple of
past failed investments, and wanted to know what I thought about investing and
financial freedom - whether it was just a myth, or whether it could be acquired.
I thought I'd share it here for the benefit of those who have struggled with
investing, or perhaps from ventures that didn't quite pan out. Here's what I
wrote back to her:

"Dear ________,

I want to address your point below - because I think you make a very interesting
point about money. I do believe that most people have a great opportunity to put
Rich Dad's principles into practice to create wealth for themselves. You said
"the rich get richer"...but remember, many who are rich did not start that way
(many who have a large inheritance don't stay rich for long). In fact, they
started very poor, with little to no money, and worked their way to freedom.
HERE ARE THE DIFFERENCES between those who achieve financial freedom and those
who don't:

1) They have different beliefs about money.

The person who becomes wealthy believes differently about money than the person
who doesn't. Example: The wealthy BELIEVE that "money should work hard for you"
while the poor and middle class BELIEVE that "you should work hard for your
money". These are opposite beliefs - so, the rich keep FINDING WAYS to have
money work for them, while the poor and middle class keep FINDING WAYS to work
harder for money. See the difference in beliefs, that ultimately effects the
person's behavior and their results? Another example: If I believe that every
person is valuable, then what happens? I treat every person I meet with respect.
What about the person who believes that a particular race - African-Americans,
or Asians, or Hispanics, or Americans are INFERIOR to their own race, or "bad" -
how will that person treat them? With disrespect, or hatred, or both. You see?
What someone believes in his/her heart correlates with how they will behave.

2) Those who become financially free never, ever give up - even after failing
numerous times.

You mentioned trying a few investments that didn't work out. Why didn't they
work out? I'm sure the reason comes from this one simple reason: you did not
have enough information to evaluate the investment. So, even if you say "The
opportunity was a scam", or "My friend made me do it", or "It wasn't the right
time to invest" - all these reasons come from the fact that you did not
adequately EVALUATE THE INVESTMENT. Evaluating an investment includes
understanding the risks, having a contingency plan, and getting expert help to
best make your decision.

3) Those who become wealthy never stop learning.

If you mess up in an investment, it doesn't mean give up. It means you look at
the mistake and figure out why it happened to make sure you don't get yourself
in that situation again - when you do this, you become WISER. The poor and
middle class try something, and when they fail, they either blame a person or
circumstances AND THEY NEVER HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THAT AGAIN. That's not
good! Just because I mess up one real estate investment DOES NOT mean real
estate is a bad investment!

I hope this helps - I'd like your opinions on what I've shared -

To your future.

Jim"

I'm still waiting to hear back from her - in the meantime, I hope this helps
you.

* There have been reports about a huge number of cheatings going on at popular
HYIP Rating Sites. http://www.Goldrater.com has recently deleted listings of
over 10 programs that were caught cheating. An individual has been offering to
rate programs for 30 cents per postive vote. More information can be found at
the following url: http://www.talkgold.com/forum/r15909-.html

* E-gold has been having some major issues with the Accsent PIN numbers. It
seems as though their mailserver is slow in sending out the PIN's. In the last
2 days however, it does seem as though things are a bit faster and almost back
to normal.

* OneInvest is back and still paying. They switched servers earlier in the
week, but are now paying on schedule.

* Profit Financial Group, a program which had been paying since October has
stopped paying and the site is unreachable. Looks like this program may be gone
for good.

* FinExperts has been having withdraw problems as well as server problems. We
are unsure if they are gone for good, or if its simply a server issue. The site
is reachable but withdraws can not be made.

* Vexasa's site has been hacked. There is a message on the page stating
"Hacked by Unonim," whatever that means. Anyway, the future of this program
does not look too bright

* Lifetime Profit's website is down. It has a "Bandwidth Exceeded" message on
it. This does not look good for the future of the program.

* HYIPProfit, a program which launched on February 10th has stopped paying, and
in fact paid only a few people in its short history. Looks like another
outright scam.

* http://www.weblife.org/vb/ is only 29 members away from the 2500 member mark.

II - DAY TRADING SKILLS - DO HYIP ADMINS HAVE THESE SKILLS?

I received an email from a prospective client. His question caused me to think
about the wisdom of pursuing trading as a worthy venture. I know that a lot of
readers are investors rather than traders, but regardless of your trading
horizons, the skills and concerns of active short-term trading are relevant to
us all.

Question: “There are a lot of people who say that day trading is for ‘fools’ and
that it is very difficult to make a living from Day Trading. What are your
opinions?”

Trading is like most business: it requires commitment and perseverance. It is
never easy to make money, but people who have mastered a skill make it appear
easy. The really successful pit traders that I have known made trading look very
easy, tantalisingly easy; but they all had many years of experience behind them.
For every successful trader there has probably been a few hundred who have tried
and failed.

Two core skills

I think people fail at any business if they approach it without an appreciation
and understanding of what is required for success. The majority of traders fail,
because they have no such appreciation and they have unrealistic expectations of
themselves. Any trader who starts with the expectation of becoming an instant
success is setting himself up for failure.

No one would decide to become a golf pro and assume that they could just pick up
a bag of clubs and start winning tournaments. Yet novice traders do this all the
time. Just to start with the understanding that trading is a skill that is
developed over time, through experience, puts a novice trader way ahead of the
competition.

There are two core skills in trading: first the ability to anticipate the market
(read the market) and second, having the discipline to execute your plan. To
learn to read the market you may as well use a trading simulator and only start
to trade when you have demonstrated to yourself that you can anticipate the
market. Discipline, though, has to be developed and tested in the real world.

Stick to your own rules

Discipline is really the crux of the matter and it is here that most traders
fall down. Their failure is mainly due to the fact that they are not really
aware of its importance. Just starting out as a trader with the intention of
developing your discipline puts you way ahead of the average trader. If you can
trade with discipline (i.e. stick to your own rules and limits) you are 95%
there!

So I would say that for the average aspiring trader, trading is a fool’s game;
but for those of us who approach the business as a business, with a clear
understanding of the unique challenges that trading offers, it is a rewarding
and fulfilling career.

You just publiched HYIP Newsletters??? Adver?

Posted by: forwardone

John, I do quite often post the HYIPMailer here so that if anyone is interested they can, if they wish, have a read of it. I`m not quite sure what you are asking in your post, and if I`ve misunderstood it then I apologise, but hopefully my reply will cover what I think you are saying.

I find it useful for finding out about what`s going on around some of the other forums, as well as the current state of play with some programs (proven payers, scams etc). To me HYIPMailer is simply an additional source for such information. I would also make it clear that we have the full permission of the publishers to reproduce it here at WL.

At the end of the day anyone who reads it needs to bear in mind that it is just one person`s viewpoint, which may be right, or may be wrong. But, I feel that the more information members have about the HYIP scene the better it is to enable them to make as informed a decision as possible about a program.

If you`ve ever read the HyipMailer in full you`ll have noticed that it has quite a large section which is Advertising. This part is always deleted before the post is made here in the folder.

In this week`s Newsletter these are the categories which are discussed:-

* Freeland Opps is supposed to be launching it's private program FVG sometime
this month. However it's been several months since we have heard from Xavier,
their admin. Some members still hold out hope that this program will be back,
and the private program up and running. In our opinion, this won't be
happening.

* VEXA SA has decided to make it's program private. We're not positive on the
actual date of this, but it should be happening rather soon.

* VAOL Investments has announced that they will be registering their company
legally. Please note that even though they may be a legally registered company,
this does not make their investments 100% secure.

* PIPs forum has been having some trouble with viruses being installed. We are
pretty certain that their forum is not in better shape, and the virus has been
removed. It is always a good idea to use a reliable virus protection software
when browsing the net.

* [Talkgold forum] continues to make changes at their forum and
main site. A good number of ads have been removed, and a number of new
moderators have been taken on board. More changes are supposedly coming in the
near future.

* Mozanbique investments has stopped paying out. This program offered an
extrmely high 20% per day. Obviously this was a ponzi from the start.

* Totinv has also stopped paying out. This program offered 4% per day, but
only lasted a pathetic 3 weeks.

* Other Programs which have been reported as not paying are: Golden Solution,
Unique Traders Groups, and Gold 600.

II - 7 GOLDEN RULES FOR FINANCIAL PROPSPERITY

Author Irena Whitfield

I believe that most people haven't got enough money for everything they wish to
have - the more you have the bigger your plans, and you have a feeling that you
have less and less money.

Whether you have lots of money or just so-so, you need to economize and take
proper care of your money ie your income, expenditures, savings and investments.

Below I give you 7 Golden Rules to a Financial Prosperity:

1) Always have several streams of income: never rely on one income from one
source only.

2) As soon as you start to earn, start to put aside a certain amount to create
an automatic money source: I remember I have always had my own portfolio since I
was a child, and can tell you that I needed it several times. Even if you have
property, you may find yourself in a situation when you need fast cash. In such
a situation, you will not sell your property, but you can sell part or even the
whole of your portfolio.

You don't need to start your portfolio with thousands of dollars, you can
develop it.

You only need to set a rule that you won't touch it when you don't need it, and
keep it for vital urgencies. To buy a better car or a bigger house is not an
urgency.

3) Always take care of your money personally: it's not necessary to do
everything personally as soon as you can afford it but never allow any other
person to have a right to handle your money without your knowing, or your
express approval. If you think that you don't have time to supervise this or
that it's not important, you will have to find it later for much more unpleasant
things when you lose your money.

Many of you will 'hate' me for what I'm going to say now and I will receive lots
of disapproving messages but I have to say it: don't even allow your spouse to
do this - love and money is not the right association, and I know what I am
talking about. Keep these apart.

Don't supervise your investments and expenditures only - Always strictly collect
your money. Never allow people to owe you - again: with no regard to how much
money you have, always demand every dollar you earn to be paid to you.

4) Strictly distinguish between expenditures and investments: it's very easy to
put everything as cost or overhead: don't do this. Apply an easy rule:
expenditure or cost is money thrown out of the window - you can't expect any
return money on it, while investment is desirable (of course, not every
investment is desirable): this should bring you more money, more property able
to make you more money - the only questions you should carefully consider are
whether you can/should afford such an investment at the moment, how much you're
going to get back, how fast and whether it is acceptable.

5) Keep your expenditures at the minimum with no regard to how much money you
have: expenditures are killing for everyone. It's useless to tell you stories
about big fortunes lost by unwise costs. I'm sure you know many yourself from
your neighbourhood.

6) Avoid loans, don't borrow if you don't know for sure you can repay. Never
purchase anything on future incomes or promises.

Just a little example: if I have a notice that a payment is on its way to my
account and I need the money today for some reason (however, I can't see any
reason like that :-) - never mind), I can borrow. But, if I think I will sell
1,000 books next week, I mustn't borrow.

7) You must always earn more than you spend. In case you don't earn more than
you spend, then you must spend less. In other words, you must always be in
green.

If you think that you must swap your car every six months even if you should
borrow, then it may easily happen that you won't drive anything in a very short
time.

I don't want to waste hours of your precious time by long essays on savings and
wise advice. Just adopt one principle and whenever you want to do something with
your money (- whether it's thousands or millions or just a couple of bucks),
just think about it: take care of the pennies and the pounds will take care of
themselves.

* The Pips Convention has wound down. Coming out of the convention there are
still a lot of questions. Pips has announced the Pips Realty program which
supposedly will pay your mortgage off for you. We caution you in going forward
with this without the advice of a lawyer. There are literally thousands of
people debating the legitamacy of Pips. We will stay out of it until facts are
brought out.

* Web-Life.org Has just reached its 2500th member. It has announced the
winning numbers in the $50 cash draw. Please check out
http://www.web-life.org/vb/

* Nex Invest a Program That paid 115% per 5 day period, stopped paying. This
program started in late Janauary, and lasted just over 2 months. There has been
no update from the admin.

* New Gold Generation also stopped paying out. This program offered 8% per
day. It lasted almost 2 months.

* Icarus Invest's site has been down for over a week. This program started in
Late february and has barely paid out anything. Looks like another admin that
gave up on his/her program.

* Diamond HYIP Has closed before it has even started paying out. Seems like
this program just spent some money listing themselves on rating sites, took in a
bunch of cash, and then ran off.

* http://www.hyipsearch.net has just updated their entire Database.. All
programs that have stopped paying are now updated, and tons of new info has been
added. Moderators are now adding stuff on a constant basis

* Other Programs that have closed are: Unique Golden Strategy, S-Doubler, and
1HYIP.

II - Quit and Retire Three Years Earlier - A good rule to follow in all
Investments HYIPs, stocks, bonds, etc.

This article can be applied to just saving and managing your investments in
general:

Author Rick Hoogendoorn

There is a direct correlation between how worried people are about retirement
income, and how much they can actually do about it. This is because the more
worried you are, the closer you probably are to retirement, and the less time
you have to do anything – like save up. Effective ‘saving up’ requires time.
Time so your money can grow. Save an extra $200 a month, three years before
retirement (at age 62), and you’ll amass a grand total of $7,887 (averaging 6%
growth). Not likely to have a big impact on your retirement lifestyle.

But what if you invested for retirement when you were NOT worried about it? What
if you, say, quit smoking a pack a day at age 45 and took the money and invested
that instead? (For the purposes of this illustration, let’s assume a pack costs
$7.00 and you smoke a pack a day so you invest, for easy figure’s sake, $200 per
month. Again, average compound rate of return is 6%.) (More in the HYIP arean,
less with Governement bonds)

Instead of starting to save when you start worrying about retirement (at age
62), and amassing that grand total of $7,887 by age 65, you start saving when
you’re NOT worried about retirement (at age 45 – by quitting smoking and saving
that money) so you end up with, wait for it, --- $91,129 !

What will $91,129 do for you at age 65? It would provide you with $456 in
additional monthly income for the rest of your life (continuing to average 6%
growth), and you won’t have to touch your capital. Or, perhaps, you could choose
to retire earlier!

Don’t start to worry, at age 62, and save a paltry $7,887 by 65. Instead, start
saving $200 more a month at age 45, when you’re not worried, and have $69,892 by
age 62! Then you could retire completely at age 62, by using both the principle
and interest as income from 62 to 65. $69,892 would provide you with $2,100 in
income for three years! Thus, quit smoking and quit working 3 years earlier!

Of course, most of us ‘act’ when we have the ‘urge’ to act. (Note how the words
‘urge’ and ‘urgent’ have the same root.). You will tend to act on your
retirement plan when it is most urgent. But long term goals are, by their very
nature, NEVER URGENT! Now, perhaps THAT is something to worry about.

* The owner of Talkgold Has received Threats to him and his family in the last
few days. A member of Pips decided to post his personal info and then suggest
people try and have his sites taken down. Some members of Pips are really
phanatical and seem to want to take it out on the owner of a free forum which
allows members to discuss both side of the story.

* Supposedly if Picpay does not issue the withdraw requests from December
withdraws, a group of members will issue a formal complaint.

* Gold 2005, and HYIPer have stopped paying out. There has been no word from
the admin. There are indications that both of these programs were run by the
same person. They both started in January, Gold2005 paying 4% daily and HYIPer
paying 8% daily.

* Golden Stock has also stopepd paying out. They opened in Late February and
paif 5% per trading day. Looks like a ponzi that has come to an end.

* Bonanza Gold has also stopped paying. They offered 8% per day and started in
Early March. Anyone who looked at this as more then just a Game needs to
reconsider their investing strategy.

* Other Programs that have stopped paying out are: Gold Stock, Golden Source,

II - THE FINE LINE BETWEEN PROGRAM SUPPORT AND A CULT-LIKE MENTALITY

In the past we wrote an article about cult like activity in the HYIP arena.
Members often engage in group like activity using eachother to calm their real
fears. Support groups can be a great way to ease your fear, but can also be the
downfall for good investors, if taken to the next level. Sure, its fine to
engage in positive discussion of a program with a group of investors who share
your dreams and beliefs. The problem arises when the line between friendly
discussion about a particular programs ability to make one wealthy, and a cult
like following of a Program admins every move, gets crossed?

One needs to understand that HYIPs are extremely risky. Members need to
understand that any program can collapse at any time. When this happens, those
members who had expected the collapse and know deep down that a collapse is
eminant are the ones who walk away relatively unscaved. Those members who have
not confronted the fear of a program's eventual collapse, and have engaged in
cult like behavior, are those who may have some serious mental, financial, and
perhaps health problems. We have seen time and time again the cycle a typical
HYIP cult member will go through:

Initial Cult like behavior:
Where ones own dreams become that of the group. They fail to see reality for
what its worth only because the people around them share the same perceptions.
The group mentality all merges into one way of thinking. They follow every word
of the admin and fail to even consider the possibility that he/she may not be
100% honest. If anyone even slightly suggests that something is wrong, the
group will quickly write them off as a stupid, ignorant person not understanding
what the program is all about. A cult member will not even consider the
possibility of the outsiders views being true, and there own way of thinking is
continually reinforced by the group members.

Doubt Begins to set in, overrun by Denial:
Major problems begin to occur with the program. The group sticks together and
will not allow eachother to even consider the fact that they may have been
scammed. Afterall, there are thousands of people in the program, all believing
that the program is legit. How could 10,000 people all be wrong? Outsiders may
bring up very good points about the program and how it is falling apart, but the
denial reinforced by Cult like attributes will force the group members to
continue to bash, critisize and even threaten any outsider who wants to change
their views.

It all Comes Crashing down:
Now the program is all but gone. Maybe the admin has been arrested or the
website has been gone for weeks. The strongest of the group members still
believe that the program will be back, will give them the cash that was promised
to them , and will allow them to reach their dreams. The weaker group members
will realize that they have been taken, some may not be able to face the fact
that they had been conned, and scammed out of thousands of dollars. We have
seen these members in rare cases actually commit suicide. The stonger members
tide up in the cult mentality will eventually follow the paths of the weaker
group members. Some will take years if not a lifetime to recover, others may
take their lives, and some will get back to life fairly quickly.

It is upto you as an investor to make sure you think as an individual, and not
get tide up in anything resembling a cult, or group thinking. This will hurt
you in the long run.

I - HYIP NEWS/NOTICES UPDATE

* Pips is continuing to have withdraw delays. It seems as if the backlog
problem is getting worse, and on top of all of this, there is mass confusion
after a wave of PIN problems. They claim to be setting a Bank up in Cambodia,
whish will releave the withdraw backlog, but this has yet to be seen.
Personally we'd recommend waiting and seeing what happens in the next month,
making sure the backlog does clear up like they promise.

* Golden Rocks, a program which had been paying for almost 3 months has stopped
paying out. They offer 3% per day. Looks like it may have een a program gone
bad or a ponzi at the end of the road.

* Exelon Finance has also stopped paying out. This program launched back in mid
February and offer 3% per day.

* VIP HYIP Has stopped paying out. This program was an obvious ponzi (or
characterized as a game). They offer 20% daily for 6 days. They only lasted
about 2 weeks.

* Direct Fund has stopped paying out. There has been no word from the admin and
it seems like this was just another short term ponzi scam.

* Beware of a spam email that quite a few people are getting, telling you to go
to a new e-gold forum called pay4auction.com. DO NOT go there! There are
reports that the sites loads a virus onto your computer.

* http://www.web-life.org has had some server issues. It should be back up

II - HYIPS SPAN MANY LANGUAGES - LEARN TO COMMUNICATE

The Online HYIP arena is a global affair. People communicate and invest with
others in different countries speaking different languages. The cultural
barrier can often complicate even the simplest of tasks. Here are some simple
tips to help you improve your cross cultural communication skills:

Slow Down
Even when English is the common language in a cross cultural situation, this
does not mean you should speak at normal speed. Slow down, speak clearly and
ensure your pronunciation is intelligible.

Separate Questions
Try not to ask double questions such as, “Do you want to carry on or shall we
stop here?” In a cross cultural situation only the first or second question may
have been comprehended. Let your listener answer one question at a time.

Avoid Negative Questions
Many cross cultural communication misunderstandings have been caused by the use
of negative questions and answers. In English we answer ‘yes’ if the answer is
affirmative and ‘no’ if it is negative. In other cultures a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ may
only be indicating whether the questioner is right or wrong. For example, the
response to “Are you not coming?” may be ‘yes’, meaning ‘Yes, I am not coming.’

Take Turns
Cross cultural communication is enhanced through taking turns to talk, making a
point and then listening to the response.

Write it Down
If you are unsure whether something has been understood write it down and check.
This can be useful when using large figures. For example, a billion in the USA
is 1,000,000,000,000 while in the UK it is 1,000,000,000.

Be Supportive
Effective cross cultural communication is in essence about being comfortable.
Giving encouragement to those with weak English gives them confidence, support
and a trust in you.

Check Meanings
When communicating across cultures never assume the other party has understood.
Be an active listener. Summarise what has been said in order to verify it. This
is a very effective way of ensuring accurate cross cultural communication has
taken place.

Avoid Slang
Even the most well educated foreigner will not have a complete knowledge of
slang, idioms and sayings. The danger is that the words will be understood but
the meaning missed.

Watch the humour
In many cultures business is taken very seriously. Professionalism and protocol
are constantly observed. Many cultures will not appreciate the use of humour and
jokes in the business context. When using humour think whether it will be
understood in the other culture. For example, British sarcasm usually has a
negative effect abroad.

Maintain Etiquette
Many cultures have certain etiquette when communicating. It is always a good
idea to undertake some cross cultural awareness training or at least do some
research on the target culture.

Cross cultural communication is about dealing with people from other cultures in
a way that minimises misunderstandings and maximises your potential to create
strong cross cultural relationships. The above tips should be seen as a starting
point to greater cross cultural awareness.
