A good match I`m looking forward to, starting in around one hour`s time, is the one between two footballing rivals from the cities of Liverpool and Manchester.

Liverpool are at home for the visit of Manchester United today, and Liverpool`s new signing, Morientes might play a part in the game.

Quote:
Real Madrid striker Fernando Morientes completed his euro9 million (US$11.8 million) transfer to Liverpool on Wednesday.

Both clubs confirmed the four-year deal, which clears the way for Morienes to play in Saturday's high-profile match against Manchester United at Liverpool's Anfield stadium.

The 28-year-old Spaniard joins Liverpool's Spanish manger RfaBeitez and four other Spanish players on the English team: Antonio Nunez, Luis Garcia, Josemi and Xabi Alonso.

Argentine defender Maricio ellegrino joined the club last week from Valencia, Benitez's old club.

"There are Spanish players there, a Spanish manager and a game against Manchester United coming up," Morientes said, speaking at Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu stadium. "You couldn't ask for more."

And of course I just know that you are all dying to know that the result was Liverpool 0-1 Manchester United. The goal came courtesy of Wayne Rooney, which made matters even worse for the Liverpool supporters as Rooney joined M.U. from Liverpool`s arch-rivals Everton.

A-r-s-enal have just been beaten by Bolton Wanderers, so their title chase this year isn`t going too well.
