I thought this was an interesting question from a member at TG, so here`s a compilation of the replies that were posted.

Now these are only signs that may or may not point to a program about to sink without trace. Sometimes these are genuine, and the program continues on for a while. Can you add to the list?

Soon to `go private`

Suffered a DDoS attack

Account with e-gold, INTgold or whoever has been hacked

Script error

Moving to a new host

Making improvements to the program

Site is `under maintenance`

VIP program giving higher payouts for bigger deposits

Huge increase in advertising

Minimum spend increased

But, I think I might have found a new excuse- `bank and trading accounts suspended due to being investigated.`

Time will tell if this one posted below turns out to be true or not.

Dear ACE Invest members,

Yesterday (Monday, January 24) ACE Fund Company
headquarters have been visited by representatives of
sapiential authorities.

We were informed that an investigation has been
started with respect to ACE Fund Company. At the
moment we do not know an essence of the claim, but we
are informed that it is concerned with the fact that
ACE Invest Project is dealing with electronic
currency, which could have been used for tax evasion.

Currently our major bank and trading accounts are
blocked and some of company computers are taken out
for a check up; as a result of this our website might
be off-line for some time. However, ACE Invest
customers database is out of reach of the
investigators, and our lawyers are trying to do their
best to exclude any possible tax claims against our
clients.

Maybe a decrease in advertising in some cases also....
and slow communication and of course payment troubles...

Basicly ALL changes can be seen as a red flag... However, many of the so called red flags are also signs of program making improvements, moving forward, ensuring the longevity...

Sure sounds like Global Vantage to me!

I can add one more point-

An Admin that proclaims 100% of investment programs are scams, except their own!

Now the GV backup forum isn't up. Instead you are directed to a page with this announcement:

Quote:

"Welcome to a new world of financial opportunities!"

GlobalVantage's new server will be activated shortly.

Thank you for your patience!

I've been posting hard on the backup forum to try to get some answers. Nice reply.

Interesting, but of course, when these "excuses" surface, it's already too late to do anything about it.........

The GV site and forum are now back and proceeding with business as usual. Though the forum has some script problems, you can still get on.

I am still rattling the cage, and having a good time at it I might add, over the Electra Project.

Sorry you all can't read the posts unless you are an "investor" (HA), in the project.

Juliano, GV admin has totally lost control of this one and has even had to lower himself to "wait and see" and "write it off and you'll be pleasantly surprised if and when it pays out." (Operative word - "IF").

Very smooth, he. BAH. Sophisticated Scammers, still scammers.
