Your opinion on a very unusual program

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: forwardone

Okay, in these days of an estimated 99% of HYIP`s being scams, or ponzis, how about the same being true for MLM`s?

So I thought I`d run a Poll on a program with a difference, classed as a business opportunity, but not strictly MLM.

Is it really possible to marry offline to online to have a successful business. And after taking a look at this particular program, what`s your opinion of it?

Quoting from the site:- (Automobiles Way Below Wholesale)

HOW THE BUSINESS PLAN WORKS:

AWBW purchases automobiles at 30% to 90% below WHOLESALE, and makes the needed repairs in order to sell those vehicles immediately at "wholesale" to local car dealers, or on occasions we run the vehicles through public auctions for immediate returns PLUS a larger profit "way ABOVE wholesale". It's a very sweet deal indeed for you as a Business Partner, and your CASH is not tied up over 20 days during the month. This gives us the opportunity to settle all accounts within 30 days every month, month after month. The best part is, all capital that you place with AWBW is secured by inventory with a profit already built in to it even BEFORE we purchase the inventory and an end buyer waiting to purchase. Can it get any better than this? You bet it can, read further to see how you can profit as as Business Partner.

HOW YOU PROFIT:

As a Business Partner, your commissions START at 6% per month on the funds you place with AWBW, this is very achievable and real. And, AWBW will make sure you receive an additional 3% BONUS on your funds. The very next Business Partner that joins will be your Jr. BP. You will receive 50% of what that BP earns each month on his funds. You will be introduced to that Business Partner because he/she will become your Junior BP. That individual may place several times more than you did, and you would receive 50% of what he/she receives on those funds as a BONUS to you giving you a raise from 6% to 9% per month IMMEDIATELY. This is just the beginning of how your monthly commissions can grow to astronomical amounts on small funds.

Well first thing that puts me off is someone who's making such a decent profit can't even afford to pay for hosting or a domain name? [-X

There are so many "scams" around these days that COULD work, and there are so many very clever scammers that come up with these brilliant ideas! And I would have thought that an official offline business would not set up a new site looking for investors and offering to pay them in gold. It really does seem like a well-worded scam to me.

And if they're making 30% profit already built-in to their system without having to pay anything up-front as such, why do they need to dilute their own returns by inviting business partners to share in that? Wouldn't they make more money on their own?

Quote:
At present, the minimum is only $100.00 and you must place additional funds in multiples of $100.00 to keep it simple for our accountant.

Is their accountant unable to divide anything that doesn't end in a zero?? #-o

Quote:
Our preference is to use e-gold because most Business Partners whether the repairman, the accountant or the original owner of the vehicle prefers e-currency.

my accountant does not prefer e-currency! nor do my repairman or people i buy a car from.

The more I read, the more I'm convinced that this is someone very clever trying to tie in the "benefits" of both HYIP and traditional MLM.

Quote:
There are many people out there that have CASH in paper bags (hopefully without blood stains on the bills) that want someplace to put those funds so it won't lose it's purchasing power due to inflation and the cost of living.

That is the first time i've ever seen "blood-money" referred to in an FAQ for a professional company's site.

Ok, final call - I reckon this WAS running offline. A pyramid-type scam, like the dinner clubs and the original "Pyramid Game" and someone has converted it into an Internet scam. There is just way too much on the site that seems pretty absurd for a professional operation, and too much hype if it's supposed to be serious. I think I'd steer clear of it =;

I`ve got to agree, Robyn, with much of what you say.

In principle I suppose this type of venture could work, but there are too many doubts.

Also, a big question mark still hangs over Clayton`s connection with BI.

He`s incredibly forceful in his backing for the new owner, venture (BI-II)etc which makes me wonder whether we`re not being told the whole story....!

Yep, I`m steering clear. If in doubt, stay out. [-(

When it comes to HYIP's that claim to make money outside the financial markets (selling plastics, growing agricultural products, wholesaling cars, whatever), they usually are scams or VERY high-risk -- even higher than your "average garden-variety" HYIP that claims to trade FOREX, stock options, etc. Nobody buying and selling real products, import/export, etc. can turn-around $$$ that fast.

And the fact that very few people in the "offline" world use or desire to use e-currencies is also a tip-off that this program is probably not above-board.

Posted by: forwardone

I don`t know how true this comment is that`s been made at another forum. But, most of us who are members of BI-II are aware of the difficulties it`s been facing recently along with halted withdrawals.

At the time that BI-II was being set up and paraded this person, Clayton Parker was pushing it for all he was worth. If what`s said here is correct then I reckon I made the right decision not to join AWBW.
Quote:
One of their National Representatives ( NR ) is the admin of AWBW ( Automobiles Way Below Wholesale ) Now that Clayton Parker as he calls himself is connected with BondedII, hydroplane, and several other programs being ran by this group of scammers he has stopped paying out AWBW. So this program is still stealing from me with both hands.

If Clayton Parker has anything to do with Bonded II, then I'm glad, then, that I didn't get in Bonded II.

Look what's posted on the original web site now:

Hooked on this

Buying and selling your e-mail address for 10% PROFIT per day.

http://images.freewebs.com/Images/null.gif
Navigation:

The rules to follow can be found at this site. Post your e-mail address by making a post at: www.voy.com/192202/

Greetings Everyone: Updated March 7, 2005

Hookedonthis@SAFe-mail.net We will be providing you with a phone number once we get going good for you to call and correspond with the Administration. Right now, we are in a trial period seeing if this will catch on or not. It only cost $1.44 to start each position, and we will GUARANTEE the first 100 members will not lose and they will make a profit. SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT US.

It appears that hooked on this is beginning to catch on and positons are being purchased to fall in line for 10% per day. We guarantee that no one will lose because the funds are used in a real business venture. We will automate the site once we have 50 members and/or 50 different e-gold account numbers.

SIMPLE PROCEDURE TO FOLLOW, THE REST IS JUST DETAILS:

1. Pick your position on the next page (Buy/Sell Codes) and copy and paste it in the subject line of an e-mail to: hookedonthis@SAFe-mail.net

1a. Also copy and paste the position code in the MEMO section of your e-gold spend to: 222730 - Hookedonthis

1b. Make a post giving your e-mail address at: www.voy.com/192202/ By doing this, we have a product to sell. You can ask questions at that forum as well.

2. Each day you should check the Buy/Sell Purchase Code page to find your position and make sure it was updated. Please check it after 24 hours has passed because we are not automated just yet. Also, check your e-gold account, because someone may have purchased your e-mail address. We will spend you your principle, your 10% you wanted to make plus 20% to give you approximatel a 10% profit.

***** The above procedure is all there is to making 10% per day by selling your e-mail address. All the other information you find below is only the DETAILS that you will need to know as the cost gets higher than $50.

The following are the details of the plan. Making up to 10% per day will never be easier.

DETAILS:

http://www.fundswizard.com/images/newspict/70.jpg

This site is set up to be ran manually because there is not a script to support this particular "gold generating" plan. We are an honest Administration and will pay daily to your e-gold account your principal PLUS a 10% profit on your principle. Not all of the profit is generated from the buy/sell of e-mail addresses, as some of it is generated from an ongoing business of buying and selling automobiles.

Your principal will be secured by our ongoing business venture and will be protected at 100% at all times. You should be aware that 100% of your spend is NOT the principle because 20% is cost plus admin fee.

The buying and selling of your e-mail address will generate you upwards of 10% per day on the selling price of your e-mail address. All addresses will be found at: www.voy.com/192202/ It is your responsibility to make a post at that forum giving your e-mail address. You can also ask questions there and participate in the forum and give your comments about the plan. By participating, you can send everyone your promotion material and accumulate a substantial database of potential clients to purchase your material in your business.

HERE IS HOW THE BUY/SELL WORKS:

1. The purchase position will be found on the next page "BUY/SELL CODES". Copy and paste that position code into the subject line of an e-mail to: Hookedonthis@SAFe-mail.net then spend the sell amount to: 222730 - Hooked on this

2. Go to: www.voy.com/192202/ and post the e-mail address you are selling by making a post at that forum stating you want someone to purchase your e-mail address.

COMPUTATION: Everyone needs leads, so sell your e-mail address for a profit of 10% per sale. You can do it over and over. Try to purchase as many of the lower positons as you can because they will go fast.

The BUY/SELL price will be changed daily as others sell their e-mail address. As they buy others e-mail addresses, the seller will be paid their principal PLUS 10%. If after a week or so no one has purchased your e-mail address, HOS will purchase your e-mail address for 100% of your principal price less a 10% admin fee.

**** The principal is approximately 80% of the purchase price as 10% is cost of the e-mail addresses and the other 10% is the admin fee. *****

Those that have been testing this plan for us by buying and selling their e-mail addresses during the test phase have created profits equal to an average of 2.7% per day over a 5 day test time frame. That is after having computed a buy/sell that was purchased back at only 70% with a 30% loss rather than a 100% buy back of principal on that same purchase. During this initial public phase of the plan, we will purchase back at 100% of principle.

Each position that you find on the BUY/SELL page is pre-computed and a code is beside that positon. There will be three separate numbers in that code. The principal, the profit, and the Admin fee. It will look something like this: 11010-1

The first number - 1 - represents the principal of $1. The next numbers - 10 - is the profit you will receive. Then the 4th and 5th number is the admin fee of 10% and the last number after the dash is the level of the purchase.

You will find many levels from which to choose because after you have gotten familiar with the plan, you will realize the potential is much better the higher you chose to buy and sell. Right now to start, we have $2 positions which rise with each purchase.

EXAMPLE: (Click on the Buy/Sell code page)

The positions are as follows and the numbers of buy or sell will be posted and explained. All you have to do is follow the simple instructions:

LEVEL 1:

11010-1 ..... BUY: $1.20 .... SELL: $1.44

LEVEL 2

21010-2 ..... BUY: $2.40 .... SELL: $2.88

In order to keep it simple for explaination purposes, you will buy the positon for $1.20 and spend to 222730 e-gold account. After the sale, you will be sent $1.30 from level 1 back to your e-gold account. Since this is manual, we will settle the positon daily and pay to you as that position is sold. You can watch this forum at the BUY/SELL page or watch your e-gold account to see your standing. If it takes 3 days for your position to be sold, you would still have realized over 2% per day.

Once we see how many are willing to participate, and everyone is satisfied with the new plan which does not yet have a script, one will be designed and we will launch this with higher levels which will generate higher profits. 10% on $2 is not much, but 10% on $100 is substantial especially when the risk is reduced by 80% of the cost price.

Give us a try, and we will make sure the first 100 positions will not lose regrdless of the outcome of our inital public phase and launch.

Yes, you clearly made the choices with both those programs, Terri. Whether or not he kept his AWBW site on the original free site or not I don`t know, but in any event it certainly isn`t there now as you`ve shown. There were some potential investors at the time who queried the use of such a free site, so C.P. may have decided to move it elsewhere. I never followed up so I don`t know.

Hey, I've been scammed by some good ones along the way. BI-II just didn't sit right, mainly because I didn't care for their "terms."

But I think this *may* still be the same folks. If you notice, the www.freewebs.com/awbw is still being used above, right above the sig. If I were going to start a program on someone's site, I wouldn't pick the url of a failed one, and a free one at that. Just thinking out loud here.

I'm getting a kick out of the scam of selling one's e-mail address! Talk about whoring yourself. Most of us don't want our e-mail addresses published -- except of course when we join double opt-in mailing lists.

www.thesamgroup.net Isn't that a domain name? All other pages are just pages from the site. They don't have to have domain names. I fail to see the reason for your comment other than to criticize.

Homestead.com is not a free site. I like them and that's all that counts. We are doing just fine and your opinion is in error. Go check it out and see what they charge per year or month. I am satisfied with what I have regardless of others opinions. My programs are paying without a professional web site. You'll just have to get over it and go back to professional sites that are scams. Don't they look so good and enticing - show me one with a pro site that is still around that wasn't a scam, and I'll show you a non-professional site that isn't a scam.

TSGc, the post you are referring to is almost 2 years old. Get a grip.

All who want their refunds need to apply for the CASH CARD. It is FREE and comes with $5 loaded on it. If you get this CASH CARD, you will be paid your refund within 2 weeks after accepting the card and presenting proof of being a past member.

If you claim you lost funds with me .... prove it and get refunded, otherwise you are a liar; by proving what you say is the only way we will refund you.

You will need to send this information to redthumb@yahoo.com

THREE ITMES NEEDED:

NAME as it apears on your cell phone bill
Cell Phone Number
e-mail address

Since the above e-mail is our COMMUNITY e-mail you will need to type in BOLD LETTERS IN THE SUBJECT LINE .... REFUND REFUND REFUND

So much spam arrives at that address, you need to attract attention with SOMETHING WE RECOGNIZE IN THE SUBJECT LINE.

Give the details showing proof in the body of the e-mail.

Let's get it done. I recovered it from those that stole the funds after the principal passed on, but some of you didn't know anything about that and presumed the worst and blamed the wrong people for the loss. Now, if you were a VICTIM like I was, send your proof to Redthum@yahoo.com

Do I appear to be hiding from you? If I stole your funds, why am I coming back to post on every forum to find YOU? Once this project is over, you will not hear about me showing up at one of the sites ever again. Most all of you aren't astute enough to deal with a real program, and what life brings. You want to chase rainbows and when the "pot of gold" isn't at the end of the rainbow, you blame someone else for your GREEDY ATTITUDE.

Any backing for a plan must be real, and I mean REAL. It can't be claimed, or presumed, or hoped to be there just because a FLASHY web site says it is. If you don't know with whom you are dealing, then you are chasing a dream.

Proving a plan is real is "so easy a caveman can do it"! That's someone slightly higher on the food chain than a hyiper.

Call me, I'm a REAL person and I don't put up with crap! I'll have you in court so fast your head will swim. I've done it in the past, and I'll do it again. In June Lloyd's bank of London will be in court for fraud. Watch me, and see what I'll do and how I'll fight for those that put their trust in me. If you are one I'm fighting for, you will be paid and a minimum of DOUBLE your loss.
