The following is the text from an email just received from VAT. If you do NOT want to see even more delays - DO NOT CONTACT VAT

**********************************

It will be about 2-3 weeks until the platform is up.

In the meantime, there has to be an announcement and notice on the forum that NO calls and emails to SpeedyWallet are to be made and will not be serviced until the platform is Up and running. Neither ePay or VAT can endure what is happening from the members.

This will cause even further delay in the platform if we have to service
members so we would certainly appreciate a post to that effect.

***********************************

READ IT LEARN AND LISTEN

PLEASE NOTE THIS DOES NOT AFFECT THE WIRES GOING OUT ON TUESDAY, THOSE ARE WITH A DIFFERENT PLATFORM

Thanks for the udate, it must have just come out from Bryan. Well, with all the delays in the past another 2-3 weeks makes little or no difference except it adds more to the backlog.

I find it difficult to beleive that a Multi billion dollar company like VAT can't handle calls. If they can't then pips should be dealing with someone who can.

Just me opinion

I tend to agree with you, however, I think that Bryan is just asking that members refrain from calling because that is just slowing down the process not that VAT cannot handle the volume of calls.

Only a very few have been reported as completee so we'll see how much activity there is the rest of the week. I'm waiting for the debit card to start moving as soon as speedy wallet has the new platform in place.

I really don't have any doubts that VAT will be able to handle whatever numbers are thrown at them. Bryan is thinking ahead by also developing more platforms so that this never happens again.

I have seen some posts on completed wire transfers, they can be found here:

The following are recent updates from Bryan, he seems a little irritated about members calling the UN, can you blame him? He is busting his hump to get the withdrawls moving again and this is the kind of thanks he gets.

": Mon Jun 06, 2005 10:41 pm Post subject: I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If members would like to see the closedown of the humanitarian operations, which is one of the core elements of the PIPS programs, helping people, then carry on in what you are doing. Believe me if this goes then ALL will go because this is what I originally setup PIPS for, not just to meet peoples greed factor.

We have today received a lot of flack from the United Nations due to PIPS member CONTINUOUSLY CALLING THEM.

ARE YOU PEOPLE COMPLETE IDIOTS OR WHAT

WHY THE HELL ARE YOU CALLING THEM, the United Nations IS NOT PIPS!!!

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS CALL PIPS NOT A UNITED NATIONS OPERATOR

THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOUR IS ADVERSELY AFFECTING OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THESE GROUPS WHICH WILL IN TURN AFFECT OUR OPERATIONS BADLY

Bryan"

" It never rains but it pours.

Earlier today we had an electrical fire at the Electricity Company Incomer which took the servers out for a short time. Everything is ok now and servers are back up.

More WT's have gone out today including a lot of Merchant withdrawals.

With respect to the UN and how they know our numbers is because we do joint projects with the Isabellamena Foundation who are affiliated to the World Council of Peoples for the UN. They have made a lot of noise about people identifying themselves as PIPS members calling them with regards to our work and relationship. This is a serious situation because we go beyond just projects together and this could be lost.

Anyone that feels insulted by my last post, should consider that it is a situation of 'If the cap fits'. I know it does not apply to the majority and if it does not apply to you do not take it personally.

Why call PIPs operators? They don't seem to know anything anyway. I wonder if the UN operators know more?

Hey, if they cut the humanitarian aid, maybe they could actually payout the members.

Would that be a thought!

It's not like members are calling the banks, and stopping them from doing "payouts" due to the phone call load.
