Most successful MLMs?

Just wondering, does anyone know what the longest most successful MLMs are? I see so many companies go under befroe they even pay out commission?
I never really got invovled in MLMs, but have heard people make a lot of $. Are there any reliable programs out there that have been around for years?

Just a guess, but I reckon Shaklee, the health product distributor must be up there at the top end.
I remember Shaklee products being sold in the U.K. at least 15 years ago, in fact it`s probably longer than that. People around the world are very often quite willing to pay for anything that gives them improved health, and I think this one has gone from strength to strength, not least in the U.S. where it originated.

One of our members posted an answer in our Trivia Quiz which reminded me of another company, Herbalife. Mark Hughes was the founder.
