Am looking at Springpay and their new card($12.95 I believe).
I think this would be a nice alternative to e-bullion's card since e-bullion has ceased offering its international card.
Looking to use Springpay as a storage facility for e-gold.
Any thoughts to consider? Feed back on springpay?

I'm very wary of these half-baked e-currency systems like StormPay, BrightPay, Be-Cash, Springpay etc. because you can't be sure that your money is backed. Look what happened to Os-Gold. If there's nothing backing your e-currency, then the e-currency is no better than monopoly money.
Aside from E-gold, I really only trust E-Bullion and Evo-Cash. I'm quite hesitant about NetPay and IntGold (which is a relative newcomer)

Thanks Jon for your views on the subject.
Off-topic -- what do you think of e-fidex and their card?
I know it's been endorsed by Patryn but going by the unfolding saga I'm seeing at TG(take away the "ow" from shadowy and you come up with?), I hardly think such an endorsement would do much for e-fidex right now?
Much appreciated

The card is actually a LoyalBank card, but it is purchased through Fidex Group.
LoyalBank is considered the best offshore online bank there is. It is a regulated bank, not like these typical fly-by-night Androsbank con shams.
I believe Fidex has been providing services for several years now, and they have a presence on the e-gold list. Any gold-related business which shows its head on the e-gold list is subjected to *heavy* scrutiny, let me tell you! So you shouldn't have any worries there. If you have problems with them, ***** to the e-gold list and you'll get results (it works with CashCards )

Thanks.
I am looking to purchase the e-fidex card(just the Maestro).

Hi Manos64
Do you have the URL for the e-fidex card. And have you placed an order yet? Have you rec. the card?
Though I think you may be asking if I indeed have the url or not but if not, you would provide it LOL!
-- does that make sense?
It is certainly going to be one of the cards in my possession.

Is it an anonymous card if purchased through Fidex Group? I heard that the LoyalBank requires some valid documents/ID in order to open an account. How about Fidex? Does it require such valid documents as well? or can I say that the purchase of the card still need to go through loyalBank?
If it is not an anonymous card, it can be traced by the Big Brother. #-o

So, there's aome thought that the Loyalbank card might be a good option? I'll have to check into that. I got one for being a member of CashEvolution (Which I've since dropped). I'll have to take another look! I know that their e-gold funding has had problems, and been turned off and on, but maybe they've got things sorted out now...

was seriously contemplating a purchase but due to the latest developments, I'm tossing those plans to the scrapheap #-o

It's important to realise that the funding problems are with Fidex Group, who you buy the card through, not LoyalBank who issues and manages the card. With some other cards eg. the InGold and GlobalOneCard cards, they can be funded by some thirdparty exchangers. I've never heard of a 3rd-party exchanger funding LB cards, but chances are there's someone else other than Fidex Group out there who could fund LoyalBank cards. Someone mentioned that LoyalBank would now take care of e-gold inexchanges/outexchanges to/from LB bank accounts, but I don't know any details.

Loyalbank has been alternatively able and unable to deal with e-gold. I haven't been keeping up on the reasons, so I can't speak from a position of knowledge, but they've apparently turned that option on and off at least once.

Greetings forum members
You can purchase the Loyal Bank card directly from the bank itself (go to their web-site for full details)
It comes in three flavours (note the British spelling! =P~ ) The cheapest one allows you to draw up to $1000 a day (or use your card to buy up to $1000 worth of air tickets, computers, CD's, underpants etc. etc at your local shop)
I'm not sure what the "middle" card allows, but the top card allows you up to $10,000 a day (and/or $10,000 on underpants from your local shop)
In other words, it is not only an ATM card, but a Debit Card as well.
But, you can also purchase your Loyal Bank card through NetPay. The full-monty $10,000 a day card costs $88 - and that includes the minimum deposit of $35 in your Loyal Bank account.
You can transfer e-Gold to netPay FREE ... and then transfer from NetPay to your Loyal Bank account for 2%
