Intgold and the new X-card ...?

Is there any relation between the new X-card and Intgold?
What I mean is... is the card marketed by X-card actually the Intgold card?
If so, why go through X-card at all? Why not just go direct to Intgold?
Tis a question that begs an answer(especially in me own mind LOL!) #-o

Actually, I think you will find that some companies offer the same card
I purchased a card thro vGold then I found the same card available at Intgold and then again at X-changers
Each organisation simply makes commission from selling the same cards

I was going to wait and post this until it was resolved but, hey, everyone likes an ongoing saga, huh.
I purchased an INTGold card through vGoldInfo about two weeks ago now. Filled out everything they asked for, DL and all. A couple of days later I receive a call from INTgold saying that I needed to call them back because they needed my Social Security# to issue the card. :-k
Well I try and call them back several times and no answer and the the answering service I get says the the inbox is full and that I can not leave a message at this time. Well I am the impatient type and really don't have time to be playing phone tag with them so I emailed support and said that I would just like a refund because I do not give my SS# to anyone.
They call back a couple of days later (got my machine again) and tell me that I need to call so they can get some additional information so they can issue the card. I was home this time when they called but I screen most of my calls if I don't recognize the number that pops up on caller id.
Here's where it gets a little interesting. The person who called said his name was Samuel. He left a number to call in the message but me being who I am, I call the caller id number. I get a machine saying, "This is Stephanie and Mike, please leave a message". Hmmm. So I call the number that "Samuel" left in the message. No answer, machine telling me that the inbox is full and I can not leave a message at this time. \

So this is where I am with it right now. I am about to email them again for a refund so I will let you know how it unfolds.
I was thinking last night, has anyone took the time to visit their office. I believe it is near Dallas, TX. Greenville or something.
Anyway we'll see....
Thanks,
Tres

Hi Tres
Interesting story. The thing that I don't understand is that the cards are issued thro Intgold but the funding is thro X-changers??
I hope that you can manage to get a refund
I would just like to say I did actually receive the card very promptly thro vGold Info. Jim told me he has a good friend that promptly processes new cards for him and the card was received within a week =D>

Xchangers and INT probably have some kind of deal where xchangers gets all of their business for a reduced rate or something.
I didn't mean for my previous post to reflect badly on Jim. It is my understanding that he is just an affiliate and after the card is ordered through his site and payment is sent to INT then it is out of his hands.
I'll have to ask him to make sure.

in me mind... ha ha
vgold and x-changers market the intgold card?
Of course, they do get the commission out of this arrangement.
Is there any advantage in going direct to Intgold and purchasing the card on their site?
Oh btw, is it Intgold or Ingold? Or are they one and the same?
just to get this question out of the way... :-s
then I'll shut me yap on this lol :-#

Well we got is taken care of. Jim talked to them and they said that as of July 1st all American buyers had to supply their SS#. We didn't know this of course. Had I known that they required my SS# I would have never tried to purchase one. Got a refund.
I don't give my SS# out to anyone. Oh well I'll just find another one.
Intgold and Ingold are the same I believe. I could be wrong.

Please be careful, "INGold" and "INTGold" are not related!
INTGold is an e-currency provider.
INGold is a debit card provider.
The X-changers card is an INGold card, not an INTGold card; it has "ingold card" written on it in large cursive.
(Now I just with PClub would pay out so I can put my 3 debit cards to good use
)

Thanks Jon for clarifying.
At least now I know they are unrelated entities.
=P~

Sorry, I should've been clearer
They are separate entities, but this doesn't mean that they are unrelated. Internet Gold Inc (www.internetgold.org) trades as INGold, and they were the people who formed INTGold. So while INGold created INTGold, they are still separate entities for all other purposes.
