What is the safest and best e-currency available today?

Consider the following points -

1. Safety and security
2. Availability
3. Funding
4. Cashing out
5. Easy to use

My choice would probably be GoldMoney (not on the list) or E-Bullion.

Here is how I would rate each currency: a table of scores from 1 (worst) to 5 (highest) in each category. Lets hope this gets formatted nicely

[code:1:c78f4579a3]
Category: Safety Security Avail Funding Cashout Ease Total
-----------------------------------------------------------
E-gold 4 2 5 5 5 5 26/30
Stormpay 0* 1 1 1 2 4 9/30
Evo Cash 2 2 3 3 4 3 17/30
NetPay 1 4 2 3 2 3 15/30
E-Bullion 4 5** 2 4 4 4 24/30
IntGold 2 2 1 1 1 2 9/30
GoldMoney 5 3 0 2 3 4 17/30
[/code:1:c78f4579a3]

* - Stormpay's administrators are dishonest and have been known to delete people's accounts (and the money contained therein) on a whim. They also assist Hyip-scammers by charging back money paid out to investors.

** - E-bullion offers a Crypto-card, which is physical authentication token not unlike a Digipass or a SecurID.

---

Overall:
1st - E-gold
2nd - E-Bullion
=3rd - GoldMoney and EvoCash
5th - NetPay
=7th - StormPay and IntGold.

Safety: That you can be sure your e-currency has value
Security: The impenetrability/integrity of the currency systems
Availability: The presence of parties willing to use the currency in commerce
Funding: Ease of inexchanging
Cashout: Ease of outexchange
Ease: Ease of transacting

Interesting stuff, thanks JB

The reason I asked is that I am thinking of adding a second payment option to AG and S1 and also to keep some reserve funds, on-line with easy access but better security than e-gold. Most programs, if they offer other payment options other than e-gold seem to offer Evo and Net Pay. However based on what I have read on other forums and on your chart, E-Bullion 4 5** 2 4 4 4 24/30 is the best bet. JB, Is E-Bullion easy to add to the Ezy-HYIP auto payment scripts or is it only currently available for e-g, Evo and Net Pay? The only prob with E-Bullion is the availability but it seems to becoming more and more popular every day

I have now used storm pay for over 6 months now and have discontinued it due to so many prob. and the fees are astronomical

I still rate e-gold #1 and I personally believe most of the security problems are from member mistakes. I know there are hackers hard at work, but think most of the problems steam from misuse.

I have used stormpay since it started and never had any problems. I have quit useing them until all my past globalone pyrimids payout. There fees as you say are way to high.

This springpay thing looks like it may have something going, time will tell.

E-bullion is my fav by far even though it not as popular with most people.

I have the cryptocard and the e-bullion card and like the peace of mind that comes with knowing that no one is getting in.

The only thing I don't like about it is the fee for funding the e-bullion card. $5 plus they charge when you take funds out of the card I think. I could be wrong.

It's e-bullion for me as well.

Too bad it is not accepted much in the arena.

And they've done away with the international debit card [-(

Yeah... I wish E-bullion would bring back the international card

Left Pecunix out of this, what was I thinking

When I rated on security, I didn't really mean how easy it would be for the site to be hacked (big worry there, if it was even possible to hack!) but rather; the probability for the users' authentication procedure to be compromised. So such facilities as SRKs (e-gold), mouse-activated PIN entries (Netpay) and Cryptocards (e-bullion) all increase the score.

In hindsight, I think I was a little unfair to Intgold. I consider Stormpay to be so much crappier than Intgold, yet they had the same overall score.

As for integrating E-bullion into Ezy-HYIP... They have designed a very complex automation interface (like Pecunix's) that involves f***ing around with XML and GnuPG. No thanks!

I like E-Bullion the best, Netpay second (with reservations, not sure how the company going public will work out), and am hoping springpay will be a good choice.
E-Gold is fine, IF YOU WATCH THE SYSTEM YOU USE IT FROM!
Which is exactly the reason that I prefer E-Bullion. Don't have the Cryptocard yet, but will...

My CRYPTO card just arrived via UPS International. I ordered it on Monday and it arrived on Saturday \/

Good deal! I figure that should even work at an Internet cafe, on a system LOADED with spyware, if I happen to be on the road, someday...
Side note: The most viruses I ever pulled off a computer were 7 different ones, all running at the same time. The only reason the PC user called for support is that it was running REALLY slow.
(Too busy sending out viruses). She didn't even know she had a virus.
I'm just waiting to get mine until I have enough to make it worthwhile to spend the $100 on the cryptocard. I figure it might be nice to have $100. in there to use, first...
Ah, the price of learning when you have a thick head in the HYIP world. Otherwise, I'd be there already!

Cool

If E-bullion still had their international Debit Card, I would certainly be ordering the Crypto Card But unfortunately they don't, so I think I will go with LoyalBank and the Digi Pass

Now if only you could fund LoyalBank with E-bullion, then I'd be set!!!

jaboles

have you ever used goldmoney?
I havent seen places to use it in the HYIP arena

Posted by: awty

I've seen a few programs use Goldmoney, but none lately.

My choice is e-gold because I like the security system especially the SRK. And best of all it's free to use SRK.

My other choices would be e-bullion & netpay. Netpay has almost the same security system like e-gold, and e-bullion is great as well but you have to pay for it to get secured - the CRYPTO-CARD. :-k

And they've done away with the international debit card

I was in touch with a representative of E-Bullion in April of this year, and she informed me that the company that was supposed to supply the international debit card [which would have been a Chex MasterCard, bearing the E-Bullion account holder's name], never delivered the cards.

So, as a result, E-Bullion removed any reference to the international debit card from it's website, and refunded E-Bullion account holders who'd ordered the international debit card.
