A WARNING about Pay Pal

Pay Pal currently has a number of class action suits against it. Federal and Regulatory Government authorities have advised NOT to deal with Pay Pal because they are currently being investigated for possible FRAUDULANT activities such as freezing large amount of clients money for LONG LONG periods of time for no apparent reason. They are also being investigated for possibly allowing vast vast amounts of laundered money to pass thro their system via on line casinos. One US state has also banned Pay Pal from operating in that particular duristiction [-X

On a recent worldwide customer service survey Pay Pal was rated as the Number 1 Company WORLDWIDE to receive the most complaints. They were also rated as having the worst customer service from any corporation worldwide [-X

Just do a Google search for COMPLAINTS AGAINST PAY PAL and there are tens of thousands of results [-X

PAY PAL IS NOT MY PAL

Dont be fooled, they are NOT the PAL or the best buddy they try to make you believe that they are

So, what's wrong with PayPal and why is this site here?

Posted by: jaboles

Paypal chooses to cover its own ass and denies sellers their basic rights to a fair hearing of their side of the story.

Possible Scenario:
1. Fraudulent purchaser wins auction. Item is a $3000 laptop computer
2. Seller ships item and according to USPS, the purchaser received the item
3. Purchaser claims they never received item, despite USPS records showing otherwise
4. Purchaser initiates chargeback and PayPal has to cough up the money
5. Paypal doesn't want to be out of pocket, so it freezes the seller's account and takes $3000 out of it.

End result: Seller is now out of $3000 AND the computer.

Dear EOM Member,

I wish to inform all EOM members and friends that they should stay away from Paypal and eBay Inc.

These two companies are aiding and abetting hackers to steal money from their customers account.

Not long ago, eBay Inc purchased Paypal and since then several thousands of Paypal customers have had their money stolen by Paypal.

The usual practice by Paypal was to frozen the accounts of their customers for no just cause, but their modus operandi has changed in recent times.

Paypal has repeatedly withdrawn funds from my bank and credit cards to make unauthorised payments for products I did not order for. The amount is running into several thousands of dollars, the recent was yesterday, Friday. The sum of $1,750.00

was taken from my account and made payable to people that Paypal is not ready to pursue for further investigations.

I may not be the only person involved in this despicable activity. If Paypal does this to 1,000s of their customers, you can do the math.

I’m pressing charges against Paypal and will be talking to a lawyer on Monday.

Please spread the news to all Paypal customers and ebay lovers to beware. They may be the next victim.

Regards,

Joel

You are being asked to show the link to the source of your quote. This then gives members the opportunity to take a look at the source if they wish to.

BTW, why do you keep on placing a link to a Credit Card site, well, a business card site, (which doesn`t show up anyway) in your posts?

Haha. The quote is in the post from Doro (#6 above) where he posted:

Never mind Addy... I'm sure there are other more recent horror tales concerning PP and/or eBay.
