Here I can talk about one of my favourite sports, football (soccer to my American friends.)
Favourite team? Manchester United, managed by Sir Alex Ferguson, a Scot.
Not the best of seasons for United, we were knocked out of the prestigious European Cup, and will either come 2nd or 3rd in the Premiership.
Our great rivals, Arsenal, a London based club have already come top in the Premiership. Currently, they have not LOST one game at all during this season, quite a record, although it grieves me to say it. :-$
So, I`m looking forward now to an old established cup final over here- the F.A. Cup final. Manchester United will play a lower division side from London, named Millwall. As Wembley stadium is being rebuilt, all the important matches like finals are being played at the Millenium Stadium, Cardiff, Wales. That takes place on Saturday 22nd May.
Now unfortunately my two sons are Manchester City fans, but as neither are now living here at home things don`t get too heated. O
Someone out there must have their fave sports, why not tell us all about what you enjoy watching, or even playing?

definitely pains me to see arsenal NOT losing at all this season, thank goodness Chelsea knocked them out of the Champs League!!!
I think MU's season somewhat fell apart with that ferdinand scandal, which was ridiculous. Hopefully when Rio's back, things will fall back into place, as long as they don't sell some of the key players which have been rumoured to be going......

In an unprecedented move Fergie put together a public show of unity when he sat with Roy Keane & Ruud van Nistelrooy a few days ago to categorically state that none of them were going anywhere at the end of the season. Having said that I remember numerous denials last season that Beckham would be leaving. :^o
With the Reds loss to Blackburn on Saturday and Chelsea`s win I`m coming to terms with United possible finishing 3rd now.
As Arsene said though, Arsenal aren`t the complete package until they`ve conquered Europe.

Well, unfortunately we drew 1-1 with Chelsea earlier today, which means that Chelsea have come second, and United third place in the League. :-({|=
Nevermind, hopefully we`ll win the F.A. cup in a couple of weeks, then there`s always next season to look forward to. [-o<

I returned from my week`s break this afternoon to watch Manchester United`s season draw to a close.
In the F.A. Cup Final United beat Millwall by 3 -0.
This is yet some more silverware to add to the list United have won over the years. Some of the players will look forward to a well earned rest. Others will be involved in the European Championships representing their respective countries to decide which is the best footballing country in Europe.
Another feast of football for fans to look forward to. \/

Been an Arsenal fan for as long as I can remember..and I can assure you that they have had lots of seasons pending on the bottom line and hardly managed to stay in the premier league..
But you have to admire a club that is the only one in the entire premier league that never fell out since they arrived to the league..
I like Manchester United as well since they play a nice football..
Interresting season coming up now with Chelseas billions and some other teams as well with new interresting names..
The winner?... real tough to tell.. top five probably = Arsenal, Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle, Tottenham (or Middles.)
regards,
Alex

Very hard to say..... I'm as always an MU fan, I think Chelsea will challenge harder this time.

As far as Arsenal are concerned, there`s still a lot of speculation about whether Vieira will leave for Real Madrid. He does have the habit of leaving the fans guessing though, so this isn`t new I suppose.
There was talk at one time over the past couple of seasons about him coming to M.U. but give me Roy Keane any day.

Yes, it`ll be very interesting to see whether throwing well over Ј100,000,000 at the problem will get Chelsea right to the top, although of course the new Manager hasn`t said it`ll happen this year, he has said within the next three.
And with those sorts of investments the owner and fans will be very demanding.
