I have noticed a couple programs that have a temp. end. Like Sean at TIG, his new plan is to end the program in about 1.5 years. BSTA has a 78 month date. Everyone says it is going to happen to all HYIPs eventually. why does it have to happen?
How should this affect our investment decisions?

You may recall one of my strategy tips always invest on the understanding that all programs will fail.

As in this case it may be a pointer to not invest at that time in those certain programs.
And also to make sure you have at minimum recouped your initial investment ,after which you can gamble with their money.
But there are many factors that come into play here :

1) The program may have gone stale by this time?
2)The Administration may feel they want to have a break away from this day in day out type of pressure.?:
3)there is always something on the Horizon regarding this arena and it may be that there is a need for fresh input of funding to keep it afloat at this time.?
4)There projected cashflow may not allow them to look beyond the dates that they say?
5)There is only so much money around and it could be an assumption that there will be a lot more programs to chose from.

As we know there are programs popping up by the hour and some of them will last and some wont .It will obviously depend on how good the administrators are.
Therefore, someone will be investing in them and not others, it stands to reason that there will be some ,who will eventually fail. Through either lack of funds or through the level of interest needed to sustain a program in this arena.
I am sure that there are many other reasons that I have missed as I have only scratched the surface .
In the main stream of thought you should never allow yourself the
the comfort of relying on one or more certain programs and should never forget to diversify your funds in case of this happening and then you wont need to worry about there business practices.
Just my two cents worth there will be many more thoughts I am sure . :-k

P.S. I almost forgot the most important one they may have made enough money from the punters to be able to retire from this crazy rat race \/
