Is that 13 goals and 9 points?

Brisbane by 87 points, a big winning margin [/code]

Is that how it works? Like i mentioned, I have no idea. That was my guess at the score, Brisbane winning, 13 points, opposite 9 points for the other. I'm not a big sports fan, if you can tell.
Now, sprint car racing, that's another story. Nothing like watching a 1200 pound, 800 horsepower car hitting a corner on a banked dirt track, and slamming sideways at over 100 mph to get my blood going...

Lions the greatest
It’s official. The Brisbane Lions of 2001-2003 are the greatest team in the history of Australian Rules football after becoming the first team in the modern era to win three successive AFL premierships on Saturday. The Lions gained immortal status by completing their hat-trick in style – thrashing Collingwood 20.14 (134) to 12.12 (84) at the MCG.

CONGRATULAIONS Andrew of Aussie Lotto you are the winner of the hphyips TIPPING COMP. I will send the $ 20 to your e-gold account later tonight =D>

I have decided not to give out the second prize as there were only 3 people that entered TIPS and I could not work out what Awty's TIP was anyhow

I hope that everyone is cool by that decision :-k

In AFL there are 4 goalposts. Kicking the ball between the middle 2 is called a "goal" and is worth 6 points, while kicking the ball between two leftmost posts or the two rightmosts is called a "behind" worth 1 point.

When scores are quoted, the number of goals and behinds is given as well as the total score. So "20-14-134" also written as "20.14 (134)" indicates 20 goals, 14 behinds and a total score of 134.

6 points for a goal might seem extravagant compared with 1 point for a behind... but have you seen how big an AFL field is? It's as big as a cricket oval.
