I am new in HYIP arena. Untill now, for past 5 weeks I invested in 3 programs, $200 in each of them. Two of them 'scamed' me, one makes first payment aftr few days, when I 'reinvested' my deposit and earned money they run away Other didn't pay at all. Third that payed me 4 weeks (4 times, weekly payout) is Gold-Forex I earned with them 200% weekly, and like I said, until now everything is OK, but I was wandering does somone else have expirience with this HYIP? Also I would like to know what percentage that HYIP offers are 'stable' and when from we can say that they are 'risky' ? Thanks to everybody who asnwer me !

Welcome to the forum stellaGirl glad to have you with us. Sorry to hear about your losses but most HYIP'S are a crap shoot, most people start with a small test spend. You need to do your due diligence on any program that are considering joining.

Welcome Stella. It is normal to start with some losses, the most important is to learn fast. I would stay away from that gold-forex

I am moving the thread to general discussions folder

Welcome to Weblife Stellagirl. Everyone is giving you important pieces of advice. There is so much to learn in online money making programs, you are taking a good approach in posting to this forum and others as well. That would be one thing I would advise, in addition to the other advice - - READ everything you can, but DON'T believe everything you read. Once you read enough information, you will begin to comprehend the complexities of investing online. FXloot is right; almost every program you find, especially those that pay fast, high returns are scams. They may or may not ever pay you, so you have to develop good strategies to get your spend back and then respend your profits. You have to learn how to do due diligence, or know who to trust or where to look to find it. Don't jump into programs quickly believing you are going to pay a few bills with what you will earn. It is the "greed factor" that causes most people to lose their money, before they get wise to this arena.
Generally, programs that pay up to 1%/day, 2-4%/wk, and 8-12%/mo are considered 'safe' (but some people 'play' higher and lower and still think they are safe).
Higher returns = higher risk. Yet there have been very high return programs that have surprised many and lasted 6 months or more. This is one arena, where no one knows for sure.
Don't be afraid to ask questions on forums!!!!!

Good Fortune.

READ THE BASICS BELOW:

Firstly,an investor should acknowledge the fact that he/she is undertaking some form of risk ,investing into High Yield Investment Programs (HYIP).

Invest only what you can afford to loss-should the company disappear or fails to deliver on its promises.

A hyip should state clearly ,its Terms/Conditions Of its Services ( TOS ) ie. for the investors to evaluate the risk involved ,whilst they decide investing with them,as there's nothing like 'zero risk' in the business.

A hyip should have a physical location/address ; where people can locate them.

Its customer service should be active ( both by emails or telephone ) . Uneccessary delays in responding to mails shouldn't be taken lightly.

A hyip should have a defined forum/sub-forum, not some thread starter ; they should invest in forum if at all they care about the welfare of their investors ,and are serious for business !

Any hyip with less than $5 minimum investment is most likely to be SCAM !

An investor should have a good knowledge of what kind of business(es) his/her funds are used for ie. A hyip that invests in casinons- are just playing a 'gamble the gambler' game on whosoever invests with them.

A hyip that promises hourly payouts daily, is most likely to be out of business ,before the majority of its investors will start reaping on their Returns On Investment (ROI).

A hyip that promises ROl on your initial capital (more than your 100%), in less than a week , is likely going to be out of business in no time soon.

An investor should split/spread his/her capital on different hyips.

After your first ROl , you should withdraw your initial (or more) capital , if you don't habe much faith in the company anymore , and monitor the remnant.

An ideal hyip shouldn't have much longitivity in its long-term ROl/maturity date ie. more than a year - as is boring to most investors , to have their funds locked-in for so long ,a period .

Payouts shouldn't take more than 48 hours,after request - normally .

Genuine apologies of short-comings in a hyip company ,by its administrator(s) - but shouldn't be a regular re-occurance ;as this shows signs of quitting the business . Investors should at this time ,endeavour to withdraw their funds with the said company .

Any hyip that has your account updates sent to your email - is an added credit ,to invest/sustain the relationship.

Hope this will go a long way to rescue innocent investors from SCAM hyips all over the place ; promising only what is real only to the dream world .

MOD NOTE: COULD HAVE BEEN SOME GOOD ADVICE, BUT YOU STEPPED OVER THE LINE WITH YOUR OFF TOPIC SPAM ABOUT VIPINV AND BANNERS - ARE NOT ALLOWED. PLEASE READ THE RULES.

I am new to HYIP's and the most difficulty I have had is finding reputable funding for egold account and that can be funded with EFT Bank Transfers and not costly Bank Wires or Credit Cards.
Can you suggest any? I am in the NY area.

The history and monitoring shows that Gold Forex has been paying for years, so how do you determine to avoid this company and determine how to avoid others? How accurate are the monitoring services?

Many Thanks, JS.

I checked the WHO IS site but not sure what to look for.
Would greatly appreciate your expertise.

Many Thanks, JS.

Sorry, js1237, I have not noticed your question. 100% in 7 days is not realistic. I am not sure where is the history of monitoring you mentioned. ALL the links to monitors on their site are broken.

Posted by: js1237

What are the danger signs to look for? What do you look for on the WHO IS site? I checked scam lists and this site and do not find any info on this company. Is there a reputable scam list to use? Thanks.

This is probably all you need to see in this case to 'not trust' this program.

What are the danger signs to look for to detect a fraud? Is there a list?
What do you look for on the WHO IS site? Are there reputable scam lists to reference?

How can I find a legit HYIP or a list??

Thanks.

js1237, when you see a program ins a scam list, it means that it has already scammed - so no big use. You want to prevent being scammed. There are many criteria to look, but I suggest you stay arround for a while and read the forums and blogs a little bit before throwing money in HYIPs

Whois information is nothing. My main concern is payout history and their marketing strategic. If you see the program's banners flashing around here or there, this might be a good sign or a bad sign.

If the program admin have "time" keep on posting their payout history into forum, this is not a good sign because they are ponzi.

petersc:

"whois" information is indeed something to look at. If the information is bogus, there is no good reason to look further to assess 'other' things.
