I - HYIP NEWS/NOTICES UPDATE

* HYIP101 has added a lot of new features to their phenominal e-book that they
have written on HYIPs. We highly suggest purchasing their e-book if you want to
really make money on HYIPs.

* There has been an increased number of DDOS attacks in the last 2 weeks.
E-gold fell victim to these attacks last week, and over a dozen Hyips this week
have reported being attacked. Things seem to be quieting down now.

* Looks like the end may be inching closer for Bryan Marsden and Pips.
Supposedly there will be a court hearing on pips in 2 and a half weeks on
November 17th. Hopefully investors will be able to get atleast a little
information by then since Bryan refuses to tell them anything besides "be
patient".

* TheHyipForum.com recently launched their Community Portfolio Project. This
will allow forum members to decide where they should invest a given amount of
donated funds. Should be a neat way to participate in the arena without
actually having to spend money. All funds will eventually be donated to
charities. For more info see;
http://thehyipforum.com/forum48-the-hyipforum-community-portfolio-project.html

* MMG has been having hosting issues the last week. The site has been on and
offline quite often over the last several days. Supposedly they just switched
hosts and things should be getting back to normal.

* Feederfund has reported that they had mail server issues over the last 3
days. These problems should now be fixed. If you emailed them and did not get
a response, then this was probably the reason.

* FXIG has drastically changed their withdrawl waiting periods to the
following:
$1,000-$10,000 withdrawal processed in 3 days
$10,000-$50,000 withdrawal processed in 30 days
$50,000-$500,000 withdrawal processed in 60 days
$500,000-$1,000,000 withdrawal processed in 180 days
$1,000,000 + withdrawal processed in 365 Days

* After almost 1 year of paying out its investors, Oceanic Financial has
finally stopped making payouts. It looks like this program was most likely a
long drawnout ponzi scheme. Things do not look good right now.

* Oxygen Invest has also stopped paying out its investors. The website is
down, and the admin has not contacted any of his/her investors. Although this
could be related to a ddos attack, the lack of communication from the admin
signals otherwise.

* Both Dot HYIP and Star Lights have closed without making even one payout to
their investors. These looks like sure-fire hit and run scams.

* Other programs which have closed this week are: Secure Reserve, E-Profit
Club, Private Profit Club, Usd HYIP, IFX Trade Corp, Golden Maker, E Forex
Invest, 21 Century hyip, and tech Invest.

II - PIPS OVER THE LAST YEAR - From Brian at Talkgold

Brian from talkgold put together a list of our Pips news snipets from the past
year. Here they are:

11/15/04
http://www.pips-scam.com has recently launched a site. This site, whether true
or not, is dedicated to giving the other side of Pips. It's basically made as a
place for PIps skeptics to hang around and discuss issues that are not aloud in
the official pips forum

11/23/04
Bryan of PIPs is threatening to take the official pips forum offline because
there are too many people bashing his program. Most of these people are asking
questions, some legitmate, some stupid. We'll have to wait and see what happens
with this. There have been reports that they have started removing posts and
banning members. Withdrawals are also delayed some time.

12/4/04
PIPs continues to have delays in withdrawal requests and wire deposits. There
has also been a continued barrage of people asking tuff questions to Bryan, only
to get ignored. Albeit the program has been paying for months and still is the
steadiest program around. Ponzi or not, people are still making money. Lets just
hope some are not investing over their heads.

12/20/04
Gin systems has launched what looks like a clone of PIPs. This program should be
interesting to follow. Some people beleive they are just piggybacking PIPs. We
recommend you wait atleast a few weeks before even considering to invest into
Gins. Looks like a clear ponzi scheme to us.

1/5/05
Pips has been having some major challenges this past week. Their forum has been
offline much of the time and they have been forced to close their referral
program. The next few weeks should give us a good indication of where PIPs is
headed.

1/13/05
Pips continues to have major issues concerning withdrawals. Bryan has not given
an update in over a month via the forum, and the program is seemingly in limbo.
Hold off on new spends until current withdrawals speed up. THere are a few
forums where members can discuss PIPs in an open free environment:
http://www.talkgold.com/forum/index.php?showforum=130
http://www.web-life.org/vb/f46-High...20Programs.html

1/22/05
PIPs continues to have major issues. Bryan Marsden has not given an update in
over 6 weeks. Many people are complaining about not getting their withdrawals.
Pic-Pay, their own e-currency is becoming more and more valuless as time goes
by. Unless PIPs can quickly turn around and get it's act together, the future of
the program does not look all that bright.

1/30/05
PIPs members continue to hang onto the last bit of hope. It is quite surprising
that this many people are still believing in PIPs considering Bryan has not made
an appearance for over 45 days.

2/8/05
PIPs members remain in limbo. Bryan is reportedly ill, and has not posted in
their forum for almost 2 months. Things seem a bit fishy. We recommend holding
off on spending into PIPs until things are cleared up. Next Month there is a
planned convention in Hawaii. It should be interesting to see if Bryan will show
up.

3/10/05
PIPs forum has been having some trouble with viruses being installed. We are
pretty certain that their forum is now in better shape, and the virus has been
removed. It is always a good idea to use a reliable virus protection software
when browsing the net.

4/4/05
Supposedly if Picpay does not issue the withdraw requests from December
withdraws, a group of members will issue a formal complaint.

4/11/05
Pips is continuing to have withdraw delays. It seems as if the backlog problem
is getting worse, and on top of all of this, there is mass confusion after a
wave of PIN problems. They claim to be setting a Bank up in Cambodia, whish will
releave the withdraw backlog, but this has yet to be seen. Personally we'd
recommend waiting and seeing what happens in the next month, making sure the
backlog does clear up like they promise.

4/25/05
Pips, continues to have withdraw issues. Currently they claim to be almost 4
months backlogged, however they have also just warned that another bank has
dropped them. This combined with numerous articles in local newspapers claiming
PIPs is a scam, has brought a lot of negative attention to the program. I guess
we all just have to wait and see what happens with one of the largest HYIPs
ever.

5/2/05
Pips continues to have problems. Withdraws have virtually stopped, and Bryan
continues to feed excuse after excuse to its members. He has recently stated
that withdraws will start back up very shortly. In the meantime, there have been
several reports, particularly from Alaska, warning against Pips, claiming it is
a ponzi scheme. The next month or two should really be filled with news.
Postive, or Negative, we really don't know.

5/9/05
Pips delays continue. Some members are waiting close to 5 months for their
withdraws. Despite this, Bryan continues to post positive messages saying things
will improve. It's still a wait and see situation.

5/16/05
Pips supposedly is paying Picpay Merchants on time now. Meaning that the best
way to deal with Picpays near worthlessness is to buy products from these
merchants.

5/23/05
Pips and Picpay continue have major issues. Withdraws for members are still
behind almost 5 months, and now Merchant withdraws are starting to back up.
Bryan claims everything is on track for withdraws to speed up, however we will
believe it when we see it.

5/31/05
Pips continues to issue excuse after excuse for delays. Delays are now just over
5 months for withdraws. Bryan claims that December 2004 withdraws should be
completed on Tuesday May 31.

6/17/05
Pips has taken a turn for the worse. In the last week, Picpay has been locked to
spending, Bryan has planned on taking the forum down, and the withdraw situtaion
has not improved. Things are looking pretty bad. Unless withdraws can pick up
very soon, it looks like pips is dead in the water.

6/23/05
Pips Has Taken down its forum. There is no public communication between members
of pips besides at alternate forums like Talkgold.com and Web-Life.org. Bryan
will be giving news updates when members log into their accounts. Right now
things don't look all that good. By all means, DO NOT invest into this program
for now.

7/11/05
Pips and Bryan Marsden continue to claim that things are moving along well. It
is quite obvious that this is not the truth. Until withdraws are totally caught
up, do not spend into this program. Another handfull of cease and desist orders
have been issued from various other US states.

7/25/05
Bryan and Pips claimed to have very good news coming. They stated this about a
week ago, and we have yet to hear the news. There has been some speculation that
there will be a major restructuring plan for Pips. I guess we will have to wait
and see. There has also been speculation that an update will be released on
August 2nd. Also there is a very interesting post made at the following url:
http://thehyipforum.com/showthread....89&page=1&pp=10
In my opinion its just another stall tactic.

8/1/05
There has been a major shakeup in the pips camp. Currently there are rumors that
Gary Nichols has resigned as well as "Warren" Bryan's attorney. There has not
been an update from Bryan himself in over 2 weeks. To us it looks like Pips is
gone A letter has been written supposedly from their trust manager who just
resigned. It is very interesting.

8/8/05
Pips Continues it's freefall. The only updates we get from Bryan are those which
say, "just wait". It's clear that there will not be any more real news until the
program officially collapses.

8/16/05
The pips saga continues to drag on. Excuse after excuse continues to come out of
the pips camp, however there have been no actions to accompany the words. People
need to start realizing it's over start the recovery period.

8/28/05
The Pips fiasco continues. Bank Nagara is supposedly investigating Picpay after
dozens of complaints by members. It looks like the investigation could take
weeks. The Pips saga will continue to drag on for a while to come. In the last
week, Alabama joined the states issuing Cease and Desist orders, not that it
really matters. Things look really terrible.

9/6/05
Pips continues its problems. The bank Nagara investigation is suppsoedly still
going on. The pips sites were up online 2 days ago which seemed to get people
excited, however the facts are Pips is NOT paying out.

9/25/05
There has not been any major news out of the Pips camp. Investors are stil im
limbo and nothing new has been given to us in some time. We still have those
people who are clinging to the last bits of hope, however as each day passes,
this hope dwindles.

10/3/05
Pips Pureinvestors has not made much progress this week. Bryan claims that they
will be restructuring the program once the banks investigations are over. People
at ROLclub continue to accept donations for Bryan's defence fund, even though
there are not even any charges yet. We find this extremely odd and urge everyone
to beware of the situation.

10/11/05
There has not been any major news coming from Pips. You still have the
supporters and the naysayers. We think it's quite clear that Pips is a scam and
will NOT be returning. There are still people collecting funds for Bryan's
defence fund, when he has not even been brought to trial or charged with
anything yet. We recommend you do not give any more money to anyone having to do
with Pips. This program has followed the all too often series of events we are
familiar with when major HYIPs collapse.

10/18/05
Bryan Marsden continues to drag everyne along. He continues to tell investors
that he can not release any information as to what is going on, but eventually
things will be better. Seems like a bunch of bull to us. This program is a clear
scam.

I - HYIP NEWS/NOTICES UPDATE

* HYIP101 has added a lot of new features to their phenominal e-book that they
have written on HYIPs. We highly suggest purchasing their e-book if you want to
really make money on HYIPs.

* We all just watch and wait for more news from the Pips camp. Investors are
continuing to be drug along for a long and bumpy ride. Supposedly November 17th
is a meaningful date. Bryan claims that around this time he will be giving us
news, while the naysayers claim that some type of court hearing will be on this
date. Either way, I think some big questions will be answered soon.

* A "Get Paid to" conference is supposedly scheduled for February 24-26 in
Charlotte NC, hosted by the 12DailyPro admin, Claris Johnson.

* Talkgold.com has added a feedback system to its money exchange folder. They
have also set new rules to limit anyone from posting an exchange who has not
been a member for 50 or has 50 posts.

* There are numerous rumors circulating about the future of INTGold. Over the
last year things have been far from smooth with this company's operations. We
suggest that you do not hold too much money in your intgold accounts, atleast
until the rumors have faded away.

* Golden Sky has seemingly had their hosting account suspended. The admin has
not tried to contact any of his/her investors so we feel it is safe to assume
this program is a scam.

* Global Mutual has had over $18,000 stolen from their accounts. The following
changes have been implemented to account for this loss:
- ALL High Interest Plans have been reduced to apx 1.5-2% a week.
- ALL Existing High Interest Plans have been closed to the public, but will
continue to pay current investors.
- A Bold New Plan has been opened called "GMI_EXTREME"

* Lucky Live has stopped paying out investors after over 3 months of 1%
payouts. Payouts seem to have simply stopped and there has been no news released
by the admin.

* Creative Investments website is not loading. Looks like the host may have
closed their account. Prior to having their site go offline there were dozens
of complaints of people not having interest credited to their accounts among
other problems.

* The following three programs have never paid out even one individual. These
are clear examples of hit and run scams: Neon Invest, Money Maker Machine, and
Bid Invest.

* Other programs which have closed are: Macro Prime, Joes Laundry Depot,
International Forex Cluc, EA Finds, Prodayfit, hyiplegend, Jaguar HYIP, and OTC
Wealth Club.

II - YOU CAN PREVENT CREDIT CAR FRAUD BY BEING CAREFUL
Author Jakob Jelling

One of the biggest problems that people have financially is probably credit card
fraud. With the number of different ways that credit cards are used now, it’s
more and more likely that a credit card could be stolen. While it is scary to
find out how many credit card numbers are stolen every day, you should just
remember that there are a few simple precautions that you can take to protect
yourself from credit card fraud.

First, all you need to do is to make sure that you keep your credit card with
you at all times. You should always know where your wallet and credit card is so
that if the physical card is ever stolen, you will know right away. However, not
every credit card that is involved in credit card fraud is stolen in person. In
fact, a lot of credit cards are stolen or used in fraudulent practices just with
the credit card number itself.

There are a few major ways that thieves get access to credit card numbers. The
first is by checking through the garbage can in order to find any credit card
receipts that might have the full credit card number on them. These receipts are
then used to either buy things online, or to make a new card that uses your
credit card number and information. The other way that thieves can get access to
your credit card number is by getting it offline. As a result, you should be
very careful about which websites you give your credit card number to. Always
make sure that you are putting the card number into forms on a website that you
trust.

One way to make sure that you are not entering the credit card information into
the wrong place is to avoid entering your number into websites that you get to
through links in emails. If you ever get an email from a website that requires
your credit card number, and it is a site that you have purchased from in the
past, then you should go to the URL manually by typing it into the address bar
in your internet browser. That way, you won’t be tricked into giving your number
to people trying to commit credit card fraud by websites using host masks.

You should also check your credit report as often as you can. That way, if there
are any unusual charges on your card, or evidence of credit card fraud, you’ll
know right away. The first thing you should do if you notice irregular charges
is to call your credit card company and report the stolen credit card. Remember,
if you call in right away, you will not be held responsible for the charges on
your card.

The best way to keep yourself from falling victim to credit card fraud is to
stay aware of what your credit card is being used for.

From what I'm to understand the Pips court date is just to free up some of the frozen money to pay employees their past due salaries and really has nothing to do with the investigation yet.

I - HYIP NEWS/NOTICES UPDATE

* Well, November 17th has come and past. There has been no real news on the
Pips front. Bryan gave an update, and to noones surpirse it was yet another
delay. This time he claims they are having delays in writing the new webpage
script. If you haven't realized Pips is a scam by now, I don't know when you
will.

* IT4US has issued a statement saying that they are closing. Here is a part of
the statement they issued: "Unfortunately now due to current investigations by
the authorities and other related issues involving the naysayers, troublemakers,
and complaints involved we are left with no choice but to close the SSP at this
time."

* Over the last couple weeks there has been a lot of speculation concerning the
legitimacy of DXGold. Many people are using the words "scam" and "ponzi" in the
same sentence as DXGold. The next month or two should be real interesting in
determining the ultimate outcome of DXGold.

* 12 Daily Pro gave some members a scare earlier this week. They were having
DNS problems which were fixed soon after. A lot of rumors started in the 12
hours in which they were down. This goes to show how quick people are to jump
onto a potential rumor.

* After nearly 10 months of paying out on time, Trading Experts has simply
stopped paying out. This program may have been an elaborate ponzi scheme which
was well thought out, or it could have been an investment gone bad.

* There are problems being reported with Pack Investment. Members can login to
their accounts but when they go to withdraw their interest, they get an error
saying "payment could not be made through E-gold". Looks like either their
e-gold account was locked, or they don't have enough money in their account.

* Future Invest has been reported as not paying out members. This program
launched back in August and never missed a payment until a few days ago. The
admin has not given any sort of update thus far.

* The following Programs have been reported as never paying out at all. These
are programs which are pure scams that never intended on paying out a sole: AIG
Pro, Ditex, One Gold Chance, and World Traders

* The following programs have all been reported as not paying out any longer.
They should be avoided at all costs: Ploc, Speed Invest, Veria Finance, Gold
Finding, IDC Invest, and Profit4all.

* HYIP101 has added a lot of new features to their phenominal e-book that they
have written on HYIPs. We highly suggest purchasing their e-book if you want to
really make money on HYIPs. You can but their e-book at:

II - OFFSHORE INVESTING: SPREADING RISK HELPS SLEEP
Author Murray Priestley

The world’s economies still dance to different tunes and have different boom and
bust cycles that tend to offset each other, even though the differences are
getting smaller. As a result, international stocks can provide diversification
for a portfolio heavy in U.S. stocks.

Between June 1997 and October 1998, for example, Japan’s Nikkei index lost
almost 40%, but European markets did well due to continental economic union.
U.S.-style corporate restructurings also began to pay off. One region’s success
balanced the other’s failure to get its financial house in order.

There has been less divergence between regions more recently. Even so, we
suggest the prudent investor cannot afford to ignore overseas markets. They now
represent some 44% of world market capitalization, up from 25% about 30 years
ago. International stocks can provide solid diversification for a portfolio
heavily invested in U.S. equities.

Exchange rates add an extra flavor to foreign investments. Fluctuations can add
to or detract from profits or losses. Institutional investors and others pay
significant attention to this factor. When the U.S. dollar was appreciating
against the Japanese yen, billions of dollars flowed out of that country and
into U.S. stocks and bonds, worsening the economic crisis in Japan. That money
started to flow back out when the currency valuation began to reverse. Americans
saw their investments in Japan appreciate then, even when the stocks remained in
neutral.

Funds that invest overseas fall into four basic categories: world,
international, emerging market and country specific. Diversification is the key
to containing risk. And, yes, a good fund manager helps, too. Research is scarce
and foreign companies, other than some in Canada, are difficult for individual
investors to track on their own.

World funds are the most diverse of the four categories. They are, as the name
suggests, able to invest anywhere in the world, including the U.S. As a result,
they don’t offer as much diversification as a good international fund. Some have
60% or more of their holdings in the U.S.

World funds tend to be the safest foreign stock investments, but only because
they typically lean on better-known U.S. stocks. Just examine the portfolio
carefully to make sure they don’t mimic your U.S. holdings. Funds invested in
small- to medium-sized companies are unlikely to duplicate the foreign
investment component of domestic funds.

Foreign funds, on the other hand, invest mostly outside the U.S. Whether they
are relatively safe or risky depends on the countries in which they invest.

Advice: choose a fund with the best balance between countries and regions, or be
very sure the manager has a good record of moving in and out of regions
profitably.

Country-specific funds invest in a single country or region. This type of
concentration makes them particularly volatile – especially those that invest in
emerging markets. If you pick the right country at the right time, the returns
can be substantial. Get it wrong and look for your head to be handed to you on a
plate. These funds are for the most sophisticate investors only.

Emerging-markets funds are the most volatile, invested as they are in
undeveloped regions subject to political upheaval, currency risk and corruption.
These economies, such as Argentina’s in 2002, can collapse; governments can fall
or be overthrown. On the other hand, these regions have enormous growth
potential. Adding a small sprinkling of emerging markets exposure to your
portfolio could serve to lessen downturns in U.S. markets – but they are for
long-term investors only, those who can wait for fallen markets to recover.

As always, of course, the biggest risks carry the greatest potential for
outstanding rewards; you simply require nerves of steel. The best course is to
diversify well and sleep soundly at night.

Anyone still 'hoping' out there?

I can honestly say I withdrawed just in the nick of time, not a PIP's victum myself. However I sympathize for those who are. Remember if it's too good to be true, it probably is. PIP's was great, while it lasted.

Perhaps in the future I will start up an emergency insurance fund for those in programs like pips. It's up to the people now.

and complaints involved we are left with no choice but to close the SSP at this time."

I - HYIP NEWS/NOTICES UPDATE

* GciSurf has announced that they are in fact a scam. The admin basically came
out and rubbed it in the faces of his members that he scammed them all
anonymously.

* Pips pretty much remains in limbo. There are rumors that Bryan and Sharons
passports have been ceased, and a member has reported that BN had launched the
investigation against Pips because they are nearly certain it is a scam.
Although Bryan claims that the new pips will be up in December, we are almost
certain this will not be the case.

* It has been reported that E-gold has switched their server Ip to Prolexic
DDOS protection. This is good news for the people who have become fed up with
the recent downtimes E-gold has been having in the last couple months due to
attacks.

* An email has been circulating from jessie02@12dailypro.com claiming to be
someone within the 12dailypro staff. They have an attachment which is a
keylogger. Delete this email immediately should you receive it.

* Instant Paid looks to have shut down. When investors try accessing their
website they get a "service Unavailable" error. The admin has not contacted
anyone with an update.

* Digital Profit, a program which offered 7% return per day has never paid out
at all. This program is what we like to call a "hit and run scam."

* Let's Get Rich, has stopped paying out members. They have failed to contact
any investors, but due to the large returns it is quite clear this program was a
planned ponzi scheme.

* Other programs which have closed are: Idann, HPinvestor, Instanthyip,
ExBanktra, National HYIP, Rio Invest, Hot Profit, Profitable Invest, and
FastMoneyInvest

* HYIP101 has added a lot of new features to their phenominal e-book that they
have written on HYIPs. We highly suggest purchasing their e-book if you want to
really make money on HYIPs. You can but their e-book at:

II - DEALING WITH DIFFICULT PEOPLE - HYIP CHEERLEADERS, AND SKEPTICS
Author Alan Fairweather

1. Don't get Hooked !!!
When people behave towards you in a manner that makes you feel angry, frustrated
or annoyed - this is known as a Hook.

We can even become "Hooked" by the way people look, how they talk, how they
smell and even by their general demeanour.

If we take the bait then we are allowing the other person to control our
behaviour. This can then result in an unproductive response.

We have a choice whether we decided to get hooked or stay unhooked.

2. Don't let them get to you.
We often allow the other persons attitude to irritate or annoy us. This becomes
obvious to the other person through our tone of voice and our body language.
This only fuels a difficult situation.

When dealing with difficult people, stay out of it emotionally and concentrate
on listening non-defensively and actively. People may make disparaging and
emotional remarks - don't rise to the bait!

3. Listen - listen - listen
Look and sound like you're listening. - When face-to-face you need to look
interested, nod your head and keep good eye contact. Over the 'phone - you need
to make the occasional "Uh Hu - I See"

If the other person senses that you care and that you're interested in their
problem, then they're likely to become more reasonable.

4. Get all the facts - write them down.
Repeat back (paraphrase) the problem to ensure your understanding and to let the
other person know that you are listening.

5. Use names

A persons name is one of the warmest sounds they hear. It says that you have
recognised them as an individual. It is important not to overdo it as it may
come across as patronising to the other person. Make sure they know your name
and that you'll take ownership for the problem.

6. DON'T blame someone or something else.

7. Watch out for people's egos
* Don't interrupt
* Don't argue
* Don't jump in with solutions
* Allow them to let off steam
* Don't say, "Calm down".

8. See it from the other person's point of view
Too often we think the "difficult" person is making too much fuss. We think -
"What's the big deal; I'll fix it right away". It is a big deal for the other
person and they want you to appreciate it.

You don't necessarily need to agree with the person however you accept the fact
that it's a problem for them.

9. Be very aware of your body language and tone of voice
We often exacerbate a situation without realising it. Our tone of voice and our
body language can often contradict what we're saying. We may be saying sorry
however our tone and our body language may be communicating our frustration and
annoyance. People listen with their eyes and will set greater credence on how
you say something rather than what you say. It's also important to use a warm
tone of voice when dealing with a difficult situation. This doesn't mean being
"nicey- nicey" or behaving in a non-assertive manner.

10. Words to avoid
There are certain trigger words that can cause people to become more difficult
especially in emotionally charged situations. These include:

"You have to" -

* "But" -
* "I want you to" -
* "I need you to" -
* "It's company policy" -
* "I can't or You can't" -
* "Jargon" or "Buzz" words -
* "Sorry" -
* "I'll try"

11. Stop saying Sorry
Sorry is an overused word, everyone says it when something goes wrong and it has
lost its value.

How often have you heard - "Sorry 'bout that, give me the details and I'll sort
this out for you." Far better to say - "I apologise for …."

And if you really need to use the "sorry" word, make sure to include it as part
of a full sentence. "I'm sorry you haven't received that information as promised
Mr Smith." (Again, it's good practise to use the person's name).

There are other things you can say instead of sorry -

12. Empathise
The important thing to realise when dealing with a difficult person is to:

Deal with their feelings - then deal with their problem.

Using empathy is an effective way to deal with a person's feelings. Empathy
isn't about agreement, only acceptance of what the person is saying and feeling.
Basically the message is - "I unde
