This program has been going for at least 9 months now, although the site and program admins will tell you since 1998. Therefore, lots of controversy over the credibility of the program.
I joined before I discovered certain things that didn't stack up with SI, but it has yet to miss a payment. Though I suspect it is a very professional and well managed scam, SI admin continue to distribute news and frequent communications.

I`m a bit confused with this one. Some are saying they aren`t paying yet others are claiming payments are fine.

Not too sure what to make of it right now.

My payments have always been made on time, however the money is only on a computer screen since I haven't tried to make a withdrawl. I have been continuously compounding.

I sucessfully withdrew to e-gold on the 2nd of April.

Yes, I am in this program and was promoting it early on. Further and ongoing information leads me to conclude that there are a lot of questions about this program; at the same time, the admin is very open with communications, critical of scams, and offers candor with respect to some opinions that SI is a scam. Due to all the questions, and obviously false information, I stopped promoting it.
However, I was receiving payments everyday until I took the bait and joined the "special" plan paying 3% compounded for 60 (?) days, after which time, all funds are released, including principle. This will be the make or break point for this program, since this roughly will coincide with the release of funds held in the regular plans after 7 mos. It has been speculated that SI made this "special" plan in order to fund those who are going to be requesting cashouts. Also the purpose of this special plan, to fund pharma research doesn't really jive, since the returns for such developments are usually much further down the line in time.
I think some people may be complaining about not being paid in confusion over the "special" plan, which does not pay the 3% daily, as some assumed.
Time will tell with this one. It will be interesting to follow with 20,000 (!!!) members.

I think they must communicate often and in a positive manner as well; there's many people who think this program won't last much longer. The admin is probably trying to strike a balance between all the negative publicity and the programs longevity.

This thread seems a little out of date. Currently, most consider this program to be a scam, or at least a ponzi who's life has run out. They just announced last week that all current investments are being transferred into the so-called 'Special Plan' without regard to the investors' wishes, which of course has pissed many people off. They immediately stopped making the daily withdrawal payments, which is a Giant Red Flag...

The 'Special Plan' holds all funds for 60 days, which means that anyone who was going to see their investment mature before then is in for a rude awakening. Odds are that none of those investors will ever see a dime...

In addition, the SI forum was purged of all negative comments and the unhappy posters were banned, then the forum was shut down altogether.

In other words, Game Over.

Moved to Scams folder in line with a number of other forums.

I personally think that it belongs in the Watching and Waiting HYIP folder based on the following statement in their June newsletter:

"We had already competed Special Plan payouts for May, and had come to decision that it will be really hard to make payments day by day to our members, as we can get profit payments at our accounts once a month from our partners. So all Special Plan payouts will be processed at the first day of every month. We have come to agreement that it will be enough time to fund e-currency accounts and get profit from partners at our bank account.

Example:
Your 60 days expire at 20th of June. You will get your payout 1st of July.
You will get profit all 'extra time', till payments are made."

The way I interpret that is that all the Special Plans that are due to be paid thruout June will be paid on July 1st, that seems to be the majic date to see wether they are a scam or not.

Accounts have been returned to the daily plan and withdrawals are being paid.

I agree with the half-way house position for SI. Even though SI took some very unfavorable actions by moving everyone into the special plan, they evidently saw that this would force investors to take measures against them. IMO, they are placating members to buy more time to hit the ground running. Maybe they were taken by surprise by the adverse member reaction, after they have been so "solid" for this long.
Makes me question how 'professional' the SI admin really is. (tongue in cheek).
